the sound bar works great but the woofer does not seem to add a whole lot to the sound experience. We are not music oriented so the may be the reason. Supposedly, it adds to movie sound but we can't really tell.

Most of the reviews I have seen are comparing to tv speakers. In that case, this is fine. I'm trying to move down from a regular stereo system and this was a far bigger drop in quality than I was expecting.

Soundbars are generally a decent compromise between TV speakers and a full-blown home theater system. This kit will by no means get you audiophile quality sound, but it's a marked improvement over TV speakers.

The samsung soundbar packs a punch and really sounds great in comparison to some of the smaller less expensive models. Was pleased to hear you could add wireless back speakers for a true 5.1 surround sound for about double the price. Definately recommend using a soundbar while watching tv. Bluetooth capability allows for listening to music via your smartphone. Dont get rooked into buying expensive short 4ft hdmi cables however. You can find 4k hmdi cables for much less than best buy at wallys world. Go for at least 6 ft cables to make it around curves and corners.

This sound bar adds so much enjoyment to television viewing! It brings out sounds that can be missed when there is background noise. It did take a bit of fiddling with to get it to work properly but once we found that the position of the bar itself makes a difference, all was perfect.

Went into buying this wanting a surround sound system. Read reviews and thought of giving it a try. Sound quality is excellent and encompasses the whole room almost to the quality of surround sound speakers. Different features and sound formats are excellent as well. Well worth the buy!

Needed to improve our TV sound quality to drown out the noise from our A/C. This definitely does not disappoint. Sleek and easy to connect, this soundbar makes dialogue more crisp and action more intense. Price is too hard to beat, would definitely recommend for a great watching experience.

Simple to connect with included wiring, sub is wireless, no issue connecting. The remote has volume control for bar and sub. The sub could be stronger.

I compared this sound bar to several other similarly priced items, even checked Consumer Reports, and this sound bar rated superior to those. A month after purchasing, I can report that it was a wise choice and a good buy (since it was a little less priced than its closest competitors)

Used in a room with hardwood floors and the sound carries well. Got this to correct an early model issue 2.1 system that did't like to playback all 5.1 shows under different formats. Replayed some of those shows and I believe this product to be more compatible and plug and play.

We purchased this soundbar after our Vizio blew a speaker. The quality and volume blows the Vizio out of the water. I just wish the satellite speakers we bought with this bar had similar quality/volume.

I had high hopes, about these speakers, but unfortunately I struggled to hear subwoofer, so I returned product. I also realized I needed side speakers.

I was under the assumption that it was wireless, however, there are wires everywhere. Also the voice are off sometimes.other than that it sounds great!

I wear hearing aids and the sound bar makes all the difference in my ability to understand what people are saying on the TV.

The sound bar was easy to hook up and get connected to the television but it was not as loud as I expected or that I remembered it being in the store.

Picked this up on Black Friday for my Samsung Flat screen TV. Figured using all the same manufacturer would make it work together without issues. Feel the front speakers were a bit thingy.

The TV speakers just didn't have the sound needed. The Samsung - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 7 Wireless Subwoofer - Black, HW-M550/ZA does an amazing job of giving us the sound and volume needed.

We recently purchased a Roku TV and the speakers, while nice, really screamed for an upgrade. The sound bar and accompanying woofer were a huge addition. The sound is crisp and clear and being able to select between Movie, Standard, Voice, Music, etc...for mode variance is really great.

Excellent value. I picked this up on sale for my apartment as my curved 8500 series Samsung t.v. just doesn't have great sound and it has been a dream. Clear dialogue, the perfect amount of bass so as not to incur the wrath of apt neighbors. It's exactly what was needed.

The sound is really clear & clean. Helped fill the room with sound in our master bedroom. I don't know how it would work in a large living room or rec room , but it worked for what I needed it to do. The price was a bit more than I had budgeted, but I think its worth the extra...
