    Ok...so I needed a soundbar and wasn't patient enough to wait on Amazon. My bad. Vizio makes one for like half the price and it sounds better. But...I get it...you probably don't wanna wait either...it's not terrible!

    Consumer Reports listed this model sound bar as their "best Buy" (meaning comparing price, and features). Really? I could tell very little difference between when it was connected and not. I'm not an audiophile but you should at least be able to tell a clear difference.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with its sound quality.

      A possible cause may be that the Soundbar is not placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.
