Sound exceeded my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am typically a receiver guy with up 6 satellite speakers, but when my Denon started faltering, I decided to clean up the clutter of wires and go with a sound bar. The final deciding factor was the option to add rear speakers. The sound is crisp, set up was easy, and the bass was deep enough to make everything come together. I would suggest to buy the rear speakers, because they really give you the total surround sound home theatre feel. I am really satisfied with my purchase, and saved some money by getting everything as an Open Box.

Great soundbar system at a very good price...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They threw in the SWA8000 rear speaker set too, so couldn't go wrong at the $349 price point. Ended up calling and getting a refund too since it went down further in price after I bought it, to $299 so all in all an amazing steal. Works great with the new 4k UHD Samsung TV I bought. Lots of sound effect settings and bluetooth connectivity is awesome. Was using an Sony HTSS360 prior to this, and although its 1000W, I live in a residential neighborhood so it was really a waste and the cords and wires were all over the place. This soundbar is wireless aside from the optical cable which is great. Great sound quality too even with everything set at default settings. Nice subwoofer sound too.

Great sound! Easy to use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this the other day to replace a 5 year old Sony soundbar system. I was a little skeptical since some of the reviews said it lacked good bass and said it wouldn't be loud enough for large spaces. God were they wrong! After listening to it in the store I decided to buy it. WOW! Great full sound. The bass is amazing. The third channel is incredible. The voices are so clear. Even watching a football game. It took about 5 minutes to set it up. Remote is self explanatory. You can't go wrong with this one.

fantastic sound with great looks! a must have
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not planning on buying this but when I heard it all the way from the other side of the store!!!! it was a must have. great value and amazing performance super clear highs to mids and deep toned base with a black glossy wireless subwoofer. I did not get the satellite speakers to be honest it doesn't need it but for an additional wider sound range if you care to spend go for it. But the sound bar is plenty on its own!!!! you can not go wrong for $300 well worth the price.

Excellent Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this soundbar to go along with a Samsung 4k TV. We were surprised by how easy it was to setup. After placing the soundbar in front of the TV and plugging it in, there was immediately a message on the TV that it was connecting to the speakers. We also bought the wireless back speaker package, and including the subwoofer, it all connected seamlessly just by plugging them in. Great sound, too. For the money, I couldn't be happier with its performance so far.

Good price performance / Problems with Bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connected easily to my Samsung UN60F7500 LED TV, no problems. I like the fact that it is wireless for that connection. Sound is pretty good for the price. I hate people who rate things so low or expect something to be high end when they don't pay much for things... My only complaint is that it cannot hook up via Bluetooth to my Peloton exercise bike that supports Bluetooth. I have tried both Peloton and Samsung support, and both claim it is not their issue. It is a pain in the butt! Both claim full support for A2DP profiles, Peloton is Bluetooth 4.0 supporting both Classic and Low Energy (LE). Samsung claims its Bluetooth support is only 2.0. That means it should work, but they take no responsibility. What a pain. I am able to connect my iPhone to the Samsung soundbar, likewise, I can connect my Peloton to other Bluetooth speakers. But I cannot connect the Peloton bike to the Soundbar which bugs me to no end. :(

Good sound for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this and paired it with the SWA-8000S wireless rear speakers for a 5.1 surround setup. I have it plugged into my 55" Samsung 4K TV (KU6300) using the HDMI ARC. As far as sound quality goes, it's very good for the price, although not great overall. Most people won't be amazed by the sound like they would by say, Sonos or Bose or the higher end Samsung soundbar models (K850 or K950). I've heard those systems and were blown away by the full sound and detail, like being in a movie theater. This will not give you that sound, but considering those systems cost considerably more (2x more in most cases), it still sounds pretty good as long you tame your expectations. One area in particular I wish was better was the bass response. It is a bit lacking in the boom department during deep drum hits in movie trailers and explosions in action movies. Also I wish it would get a bit louder, at max volume there's more to be desired, although I am positive it will get more than loud enough for most people. Overall, if you don't expect miracles, it sounds good for the price. Just understand this is considered a budget sound system and has the sound quality to match.

Good quality, but not very loud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this soundbar along with the rear wireless speaker kit (which now apparently comes bundled). Overall, I'm happy with the sound quality. The bass/treble are OK, and dialog is nice and crisp. However, I have a couple of issues. First, the soundbar doesn't get very loud, particularly the rear speakers. Depending on what I'm watching, it could be a little too quiet. Second, it has a weird compatibility issue with my Samsung TV, causing sound to get cut off for a couple of seconds, come back, then cut off for a couple of seconds again. This pattern repeats almost always right after unmuting, rewinding, or unpausing what I'm watching. It's not a source issue (I tried). Setting the TV to PCM rather than Auto (surround) resolved this, but then I lose surround. Not sure who to blame here, and Sony/Samsung support are pointing fingers are each other.

great soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this soundbar along with the swa-8000s for 5.1 surround sound. at first I was quite skeptical given the price collectively. but once I hooked everything up (and after some tweaking between the soundbar, tv, and bluray.... I must say I love the soundstage that it provides!! :-) Bass could have a bit more oomph... but that's a very very minor complaint to an otherwise nice movie theater like experience! :-)

Good Soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So after reviewing and testing a few similar soundbars to this one, I have concluded that this soundbar is the best for its price. The soundbar produces good, quality sound. The reason for the 4 stars is that, sometimes the Bluetooth connection is not the best, however, it is definitely not a significant issue.

Go with 3.1 over 2.1!!! Family and Friends LoveIt
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife complained that it was hard to hear (at least voices) on our LG LED TV. So I went to Consumer Reports and they gave this Samsung 3.1 an excellent sound quality rating. I believed that a dedicated center speaker (aka 3.1) verses the 2.1 units (without a dedicated center speaker) would allow us to hear voices better. IT DOES! Now we can hear announcers on sports shows; we hear things while watching movies that we could not hear previously. This sound bar is fantastic. IF you can afford $300, go with this one and skip the $150 units. If you can't, I suspect the other ones will improve TV sound too. no matter what, be happy with what you have an be nice.

Great soundbar!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this sound-bar .I Tried other brands,Sony,Klipsch, but this one offers better sound quality and the option to add extra speakers(SWA-8000s) which, with the appropriate frequency band and rear speaker level set up,give you an excellent surround sound.Very good bass from sub woofer,Again, you have to find the adequate set up sound level and yoü will get an amazing and powerful sound,

3.1 Samsung sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I am not a techy. And this is my first ever audio purchase. I bought in conjunction with Samsung curved 8500 led 4K. I went with the straight sound bar even though I got the curved tv simply bc the sound of this 3.1 model is better than the 2.1 version. The curved version 2.1 is more expensive but still the 2.1 version. So I paid a little bit more more the 3.1 version which was same price as he curved 2.1 version but I got better quality. The straight sound bar fits perfect under the curved 55 inch as if it was made for it. Something I had the salesman take off the shelf and put under the curved tv to make sure.

Pretty darn good for the money...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a tremendous product alone for anyone who wants 2.1 sound, but i hear even better with Samsung add-ons to make it a wireless surround system. Full, rich sound with relatively no-hassle hookup, Bluetooth, several sound options, and adjustable levels make this a versatile addition.. My only complaint is that even though I got a great price on an open box item through BestBuy.com, it was packaged terribly and I was concerned that the operation might reflect this same problem. I was lucky it appeared not too, but i bought the Extended Service just in case.

Goal Achieved
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 7 yr old Panasonic HDTV has down firing speakers, so some of its sound is absorbed by the carpet (TV is wall mounted) and furniture place below it. Likewise many movies have much ambient sound that sometimes make voices difficult to understand. This soundbar was easy to install with 2 simple screws/wall anchors assembly and the included brackets. Likewise the included optical D.IN cable made connection to the TV very simple and quick. Following the instructions on page 12 of the manual we were able to simply connect our TWC cable remote to operate the on/off/mute functions. We are also pleased that the outward facing soundbar provides improved clarity of vocals as well as additional sounds our TV speakers were unable to reproduce. The center channel seems to have helped immensely with the clarity and the sound effect option of "clear" has also been used several times. We are pleased with our selection of this 3.1 Samsung soundbar.

Astounding Sound - Easy Set up.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW. My first soundbar. Ive been a bulky A/V receiver / subwoofer set up guy for a while now and used to laugh at these "soundbars" and I know many of you reading this are the same. Stop laughing. This thing packs serious punch and clarity. I am very very surprised and pleased with the sound this thing produces. Lets break it down. Setup: Plug and play. No seriously, plug it in and use it. Power to the soundbar, connect your TV, if you have a newer samsung TV you dont even need to connect the thing to the TV with a wire... WHAT!? Plug in the sub and thats it. You're done. SOUND: The highs are high and the lows are low. Not enough low? Grab the remote and use the super easy to use "sound control" button. You can adjust the treble, the bass, the volume of the sub itself. I truly do NOT understand the reviews that are like "theres not enough bass" are you DEAF? This thing is LOUD and packs a punch. Ive listened to music, movies, TV, xbox one and every single time this thing does not fail to impress. ADDONS: GET THE SURROUND KIT! The above review is for the product without the surround kit, but after I hooked it up I became even further impressed. The surround kit is wireless and man is it awesome. The rear speakers sound great. Overall, what a great product. Its awesome from top to bottom. Seriously, if you're considering it, go for it.

Just Buy it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this along with the rear speakers and it is amazing!! Very easy hook up, I had everything on within 5 mins. I put on Band of Brothers episode 2 to help me find the settings I liked and had bullets whizzing by from all directions and felt the explosions as the Subwoofer went to work. For me the key to the Subwoofer was to increase it's sound setting (Not the Bass sound). I was able to get the rear speakers as part of a bundle package and it's worth every penny.
