Nightmare hooking up. Will not turn on automatical

Will not turn on automatically when TV is turned on, I see this has been a problem since 2011. What is wrong with the Samsung designers? If it IS hooked up so it auotmatically comes on, the volume control does not work. Also, the wireless rear speakers are nowhere near loud enough on highest setting. And you SHOULD NOT have to pay $100 to a Geek squad to hook anything up!!! Absurd.

By default, power ON by the TV is set to off. You have to press the "Bluetooth POWER" button on the remote to turn the feature on. The Bluetooth POWER On function is available after you have successfully connected the Soundbar to a Bluetooth compatible TV using TV SoundConnect. When the Bluetooth POWER On function is ON, turning the connected TV on or off will turn the Soundbar's power on and off as well.

I hope you were able to resolve your sync issues. If not, you can try these steps:
To correct sound-TV syncing: Use the "Sound Control" button on the remote control and select AUDIO SYNC. Use the < and > arrow buttons to set the audio delay between 0ms and 300ms.
You can find further details of these two features in your User Manual.
As for sound quality, a common misunderstanding is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.
