Great soundbar for great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a soundbar made by a reputable company (Samsung was at the top of the list) and found this one at a great price. A 3.1 soundbar is perfect, as it includes a separate speaker for dialogue only. The only gripe I'd have is the flimsy connection the optical cable has to the soundbar. It doesn't seem to fully plug in, and just kinda sits there so you might have to jury rig it like I did.

Impressive sound clarity and range

Common problem is trying to hear dialog. WIth the center channel on this speaker, dialog is crystal clear. Actually had a hard-of-hearing family member say "This sounds incredible, I can actually hear them talking" when watching a holiday movie over christmas, they were not aware of the new speaker.

Excellent soundbar

The new Samsung sound bar works very well with great sound. It is connected to a new Samsung tv so the soundbar works as an extension of the tv speakers. My new TiVo remote could not control our old soundbar, but the new one is controlled seamlessly. We like the digital volume readout in the speaker. I have not connected the subwoofer yet.
