Good sound and base. Easy to set up wireless connection with a Samsung TV. It sometimes looses the connection requiring separate power on and Bluetooth connection again. I.have not tried to set up with the optical connection to see if that is better?

I read several reviews before purchasing this product and they were mixed. I still purchased because of the excellent price. I think ultimately for the price it is a good product. Not top of the line for the expensive price tag but definitely not cheap.

What a difference in sound. Of course you can't complain too much of the flat tv speakers cause they have to be thin and they cut through and are crisp and clear with my shows. But when I turn on the soundbar and subwoofer it is just another beast of its own. Now yes...this is not the top of the top model but why spend all that money for something that has minute differences in actual hearing of clarity and bass to the human ear? Basically the same way I looked at it as to buying my tv with it. I have the 8000 series 55 inch flat, not curve, and gladly did not spend an extra $1k for the 9000 series. Compare them and you'll see it had 2 differences. For example one was called "deep black" while the other was called "superior black". Anyway, you get the idea. So yes this soundbar and sub are amazing. And can get pretty loud. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I am.

Perfect match for the 55" 4K Samsung TV. Recommend using HDMI connection. The Bluetooth and Optical digital inputs introduce minor delay with picture sync. Bar sounds full & rich and sub provides balanced low end at low to moderately loud levels.

This sound bar was easy enough to set up, I could've done it faster if I'd looked at the directions first, but I just forged ahead. Linked it with the TV and started watching. It may have taken all of 15 minutes and part of that was unboxing it. On Directv the sound was a bit off, so I figured out how to set that and now it doesn't look like those crazy Japanese Kung fu movies I watched in my youth. It integrates seamlessly with my TV which is why I bought it. Wireless woofer is great as well.

I love the ease of setup. It sounds amazing for movies, TV, and video games. A definite huge upgrade to the stock sound from a TV. My reason for 4 stars is for the Bluetooth option. It works but the range is terrible. It seems to be about 6 ft maximum.

Love this soundbar! Great sound! Using this to replace an old Bose system that wasn't compatible with HDMI. The sound is as good, if not better. Very easy to set up with a new Samsung TV. The price was excellent. Could not ask for a better value!

Got this for my Sony XBR-X930D, as the deal for it on Black Friday was too good. It works great, sounds great, major upgrade over TV speakers and simulates Surround sound nicely. Some bars will sound better, but this is very good for the price point.

sounds good for what we need it for. Don't turn up the sound loud anymore most of the time due to our daughter sleeping upstairs. You could add more speakers to make it sound awesome. But still works well alone. Great price for the sound.

Soundbar setup is very simple, and easy to use. Mine is connected to a Samsung 50" SmartTV and turns on when the TV is turned on. Sound and volume are very good. Would recommend getting the rear speaker set as well depending on how you intend on using it.

Purchased this sound bar to replace my Sony all-in-one system that suddenly crashed and does on me. Great sound. I also purchased the compatible rear speakers to get the full experience. Great purchase all around. Set up is extremely fast and easy too.

The sound from the soundbar is good (not great) but good for the money. I do like the fact that it so easily connects to my Samsung TV automatically and the volume controls are nicely integrated into the TV control. The soundbar has a very nice and thin profile to go right in front of the TV without taking much room. The wireless subwoofer is powerful enough for a small room and easily connected to the soundbar the first time after turning the system on. I have moved the soundbar between rooms a few times and it does get marked up easily (make sure you don't rub the black metal screen across white painted cabinets). I have a few marks on the speaker now that I can't easily remove.

I love this soundbar very easy to use and sound is awesome and clear. only thing i noticed is sound volume is low sometimes when streaming videos like netflix, amazon ect but when i watch blu rays awesome sounds and volume. Highly recommend.

The Soundbar is easy to set-up and connect through remote control.

I bought a new TV and figured I would upgrade my soundbar I am very pleased with the sound quality however my old one which was a Samsung also had more Bass but other than that the sound quality on this one is excellent and the base is pretty good

Bought this sound bar after listening to it at Best Buy, then reading reviews. This unit sounds much better than the lesser priced unit because it has a center channel 3.1. This is the stereo "space" that voices are recorded to. Because of this, not only are voices easier to hear, they sound more natural when listening. The wireless sub-woofer (it does still have an electrical cord), works well and sounds great. We did later add the wireless rear speaker set which turns the system into a surround sound system. Sounds great and will shake you right off of the couch during action scenes if you want it to! A side note: We initially had this hooked up to an older Sony 46" TV, and the bass was very lacking/disappointing. As noted above, when we received our new Samsung 8500, the sound bar sounds great with it.

Picked this model up after much debate and research. Exceeded my expectations. Only knock is the sub isn't as deep as I'd like while watching TV, but it is a beast when connected to music. Overall it's an excellent buy for the money.

I had read reviews of sound bars including other Samsung models, but sound quality is such a personal preference so I am glad I went into the store to test them out. The 2.1 surround sound models just didn't have enough oomf for me and when I got to this model I stopped my search as I had found the perfect one for the price. The sound quality is rich and truly improves my 4K tv experience. The subwoofer adds depth and a perfect rumbling bass, but I like that I can control it to lower the levels. I live in a condo with a small living room so I didn't want to have so much bass that it brought down the walls. Since I have a Samsung tv this paired with one button so it was beyound easy to set up, i also like that I can control all sound features from my tv which means one less remote to worry about.

I bought a 60 inch Samsung SUHD TV last year and decided to try it without a sound bar for a few months. The sound was good, but I wanted something better. I recently purchased a 3.1 channel Samsung Sound bar and the improvement in sound is impressive. Having the center channel greatly improves the ability to hear the voices, and the subwoofer and sound system make watching movies really enjoyable. I am still thinking about purchasing the rear speakers to make it a true surround sound system. The system was easy to set up. I had it up and running in just a few minutes. I can use the TV remote to adjust the volume of the sound system, and if I want to modify the sounds, I can use the sound system remote. I can also use the sound system for listening to music from my cell phone or tablet.

The soundbar sounds great. The quality is great. The only problem I have is that when I bought the soundbar, I was told that even though it was an opened box item, they had inspected it and everything was in the box. The salesperson told me that I was getting exactly what I would get if I bought it unopened (they had run out of soundbars). It wasn't until I got home that I noticed the remote was missing which we were never told. I called customer service and they told me to go into any Best Buy and they would give me a remote. I went into our closest Best Buy and they didn't give us a remote since they didn't have an opened box one. I tried calling the store that sold us the item but I didn't get a call back. I am still without a remote. I recommend the soundbar but I don't know that I would buy it at Best Buy.
