We purchased this after reading reviews on tv we purchased. All we wanted was the music or explosions to not be louder than the voices. And this is a great system links right to tv. Watch moves comfortably and if we want to jam out to some AC/DC we can.This is not surround sound but for us it's great.

I bought a more expensive Sony which blew out after two weeks. I then bought a 650 which isn't as good in many ways as the 550 and costs more. The 650 was returned. I own two of these. You have to spend a lot more to get something better.

The sound bar was about as simple of a plug and play item as I have ever encountered. The sound is great and I love the wireless subwoofer. Make sure you select the right setting as there are several you can choose from: music, sports, movie, etc... This goes well with the television I just bought too!

The product is okay. I feel like I could have bypassed this product and been fine with the TV sound. The only noticeable difference is the deep bass that comes from the woofer. I haven't turned it up past 20 of 50 though. Occasionally it seem like I hear digital glitches when I'm watching streaming video.

I tried two Samsung sound bars the 2.1 and the 3.1 . They both had clear voice but the bass is really weak on both units. I wasn't impressed with the sound effects at all. For the money not worth it.there is better sounding sound bars to choose from.

We went to Best Buy to purchase a soundboard for our new Samsung Smart Tv. We purchased other products in the past there because the staff is very knowledgeable and they expain how to install, setup and use whatever you buy. The Samsung soundboard works perfectly with our tv we luv it. Thanks Best Buy!

First, this was super easy to pair the HW-K550/ZA Soundbar to my Samsung UN49KS8000FXZA 4K Ultra TV. Also paired the Samsung 8000S rear-set speakers. Had the rear set originally in my main TV room, then moved them to my office. Now my whole living level has quality sound whether TV or Bluetooth music.

I purchased this 3.1 Samsung system after returning a 2.1 jbl. I'm very happy having added the rear speakers too. The only issue I had is that I cannot select the optical input with the arc cable connected as well. When I select digital it goes only to the arc ignoring the optical from my source.

I wanted better sound then my back speaker TV offered but did not want to spend lots of money for surround system. Sales person suggested this sound bar. It was easy to install, do not have lot of wires across room and sub woofer fits nicely in corner out of sight. Sound is sooooo much better!!

As far as compact audio systems go, this is a superb piece of practical & multifunctional equipment. I am very pleased with it's 3.1 sound and would certainly recommend it over the 2.1 model.

I also purchased the wireless rear speakers. They just play in stereo, this is not a defect, but a miss from samsung engineering. The soundbar is only capable of 3.1 even with optional rear speakers. Also the subwoofer doesn't have much mmph.

I was going to buy a lesser quality product when the associate pointed out this product that connected via bluetooth to my HDTV. It was also an open box purchase which allowed me to get a much better product at the same price point.

We are a Samsung household. We had gotten a Sony soundbar system and the sub stopped working a month after we got it! This Samsung soundbar ROCKS!!! We watch alot of movies and want the theater experience at home. Well, it does just that. We love it!!! Music sounds absolutely amazing on it too.

having purchased the 2.1 just a month ago, i couldnt help treating myself to the 3.1 and man am i happy i did, the 2.1 has two speaker plus the woofer, the 3.1 has six speakers plus the woofer and its 40 watts more than the 2.1, paired with the rear speakers i have a total of 500 WATTS!!!!!!

For a mid tier music sound bar and solid TV sound, this one will do the job. It's not going to shake any homes but the sub is good. Sound quality is reasonably good being an audio person. Great for casual use or if you are hardcore about sound, as an auxillary system. Hard to go wrong for the price.

I purchased this sound bar from Best Buy . Works and sounds great for all I need . At time of purchase they offered free wireless rear speakers . That was a extra bonus for me and is one of the reasons I bought this one . It is not the best one out there but I think it is great for the price.

Connected to TV via HDMI ARC. Besides turning on automatically with the TV, the TV remote also controls the sound bar volume. I rarely use my main surround system ,which is also connected, because the sound bar sound is great.

I purchased this to replace my 2015 Samsung sound bar model, and have never been happier with an audio purchase for a TV! This offers deep, rich sound and the subwoofer has the perfect amount of push. Connecting with Bluetooth is simple and easy, great way to use my phone for music.

As a proud 5.1 system owner I was skeptical. But it works. It really does. And the convenience of no wires to run around and figure out what to do with is out of this world. Syncs well with devices like Alexa: can tell her just connect to Bluetooth while you switch the sound bar input to it.

This is a great system to pair along with a samsung tv! Having the ability to control everything with the small tv remote is great and it sounds amazing with the added rear wireless speakers.After trying different sound settings,sports mode works best for me and sounds fantastic!
