I bought the Samsung curved sound bar to complement the newly purchased Sumsung 55" Series 8. The good news is that it was EXTREMELY easy to pair it up with the Samsung. I have difficulty hearing dialogue at times, so the sales associate suggested going with a 3 3.1 channel rather than a 2.1 system(the dialogue comes mainly through the center channel)...so no problem there. I am disappointed with this system though with the subwoofer/sound effects'Left Right channels. Even though you can modify the sound controls, you WILL be able to hear the sounds from the left/right channel if you are sitting REALLY CLOSE to the TV and having the sound volume low enough that you don't blast your wife's eardrums (no chance if you're 10+ feet from the system) or you will have to have the volume cranked up...but there's still not great sound effects coming from the Left/Right channel. Bottom Line: Pass on this system.

This soundbar provides excellent sound in a plug and play package. When paired with the rear speakers it actually decodes 5.1 which majes it great for movies. Very happy with this purchase.

The sound is good. The only complaint I have is that the soundbar doesn't automatically turn on when I turn on my TV. My old Samsung soundbar did. I have to change remotes to turn on the soundbar

better than TV base and the sound bar is great. can build true surround sound later by adding additional speakers. nothing mind-blowing but it does make a world of a difference for the price point

Amazingly loud sound. Feels like your in the movie theater. First subwoofer soundbar I've ever owned! Couldn't be more satisfied. I love SAMSUNG!

Brand new tv, it sounded really good in the store, was really disappointed when I got home and it did not sound the same. My 20 year old Bose surround speakers sound better. Have to use remote.

Needed a soundbar for my TV. Did not need 5.1 or 7.1...this 3.1 did great. We have always trusted Samsung, and again, we were not disappointed.

Replaced all of our speakers with this. It works great and I love all of the different settings for the system. You can change it if you are listening to music, tv, or a movie. Great purchase.

Overall I am happy with the purchase and enjoy that the sound bar has three speakers instead of two. With the available sound options any audio you are playing can be tweaked for the experience.

I got a 65" 8000 Series Samsung TV and decided to stick with Samsung for everything connected to it so that everything would work through the TV's fancy remote. I was disappointed with the Soundbar. If you set the Soundbar to IND it turns on when the TV turns on, but the TV remote does not control the volume. If you set it to SoundConnect, it does not automatically power on with the TV, but the TV remote will control the volume. And the sound is average. I like my Polk Soundbar better. I expected the Samsung family of products to work with each other better.

I didn't know what I was missing until I got the 3.1 channel Samsung Sound Bar with the center speaker which can be set to voice enhancement. Now I can understand what everyone is saying.

After figuring out how to connect to my TV, I found the sound to be very good but there are times when the sound cuts out. Those times are when the scene changes from program to commercial.

We purchased this sound bar as a replacement for a home theater system. So far, we've been happy with the purchase. The sound quality is good. Set up did take a bit longer than expected.

I purchased this for my 87 year-old father who has been struggling to fully hear TV dialogue. He says it has significantly improved his ability to hear his favorite programs and movies.

I purchased this unit with a new 4k TV. It is slim, sounds good, and was very easy to install. I recieved the surround sound speakers for it, but they didn't work for my setup in the room.

This is the perfect surround sound for my TV. What I love most about this product is that you can switch to different surround settings. I'm thinking on getting another one for my room.

This soundbar really improves the quality of speech from the TV. Only disappointment is that you cannot use the TV remote to control the volume if you connect to the TV with an HDMI cable.

Bought this sound bar system to go with new Samsung 4K LED TV. The sound bar came with optical cable which was nice. Doesn't matter what is being watched, it is powerful and sounds great.

This soundbar is very good for its price. The fact that there is also a kit available to attach another two speakers makes it even better. Definitely recommend for an average sized room.

I got this product on sale for black fiday. They had it up on display and got to try it out before buying. Knew it was great for the price before my purchase. Sounds great, looks great.
