I purchased this to replace my Denon component system. I was tired of the wires and wanted a more stream line look. Since we have Samsung TV's, I wanted a matching sound bar. I also purchased the wireless rear speakers that were also on sale. I'd highly recommend getting the wireless rear speakers. The clarity is much better and refines the details that you probably wouldn't hear with just the sound bar. Some of the other reviews state that the bass is not as robust as it should be. I agree. The subwoofer is a little weak. My only other gripe is that it does not get as loud as I'd like. I used it for a party at the house while streaming my ipod using the bluetooth feature. I had the volume maxed out and and I was a little disappointed. Overall, good bang for your buck as long as you get it on sale!

Great value for money, bought these at sale price, easy hookup, sounds great in the small room that I have the system in. A little light on the bass, but excellent value for money, especially when combined with the wireless speakers.

What a difference this makes in tv experience! Makes dramatic and suspenseful movies so much better! Use it for listening to your playlist as well. Simple wireless setup. Gift for my husband but we all are loving it!

This is a solid speaker. The only issue I have had is it sometimes stops syncing with my tv and I cannot figure out why. The sound makes a big difference as opposed to the tv speakers and gives the feeling of surround sound.

Nice to watch movies and games...I can hear really clear

This system was simple to set up and works seemlessly with my existing television. I had a hard time finding the port on my TV because it’s old, heavy, and attached to the wall. The port is teeny tiny and square in shape about 1/4 inch in size. Just FYI, so don’t freak out if the system doesn’t work...just plug in all the cords. :)

The good news with this sound bar and sub is that the sound is very solid for the price point. The bad news is that I couldn't get the HDMI ARC settings to work, even after engaging Samsung on facebook and calling their customer support. Depending on your TV, you *may* be able to control volume and power of the soundbar with your TV remote. Otherwise, you'll have to use a separate remote to do that. I have a Samsung TV, so it should have all been very easy, but ultimately, without being able to use the remote for my TV that Samsung touted so highly, this bar didn't make sense for me. If you don't mind dual remoting it, though, for the price, it's not bad. If you don't have space for the sub, consider the Bose Solo 5, which is cheaper and has better sound (except for the low lows).

This Samsung surround system is a nice entry level package. For the price you cannot go wrong, it does the job in smaller rooms. If you have a larger room, it will not be room filling, but satisfying. You get what you pay for.

I used to have a wired 5.1 surround sound system which was good quality but a pain to set up and operate. This was a dream to set up and the sound quality is decent. Being able to select the type, movie/music/etc is great

TV's are getting so thin these days that they are suffering from sound distortion and clarity loss in their tiny speakers. Unless you have really good ears you will most likely wind up buying an external sound bar or speaker system for your new TV. The problem is that most sound bars have only mid-range speaker sound, just like the speakers in the TV. You will need one that has Treble (or tweeter) speakers in order to get the higher range of sound. If treble is missing, your sound will come out muffled, like too much bass. This Samsumg is the only sound bar that has tweeter speakers on both ends, with mid-range ones in the middle. While not perfect, it outdoes the other two I tried. There is probably a better one out there, but not at the price level of this Samsung.

I have been happy with this purchase. It has improved my ability to hear and understand dialogue during use when there is ambient noise or if a male is speaking softly and in low tones-which often sounded like mumbling to me before getting this system. My husband is also happier that I don't turn the TV volume quite so high!

Great sound bar that was SUPER SIMPLE too hook up. Pretty much plug and play. I love the Bluetooth feature to that hooks up to my Android. The sound is great. I am used to having a 5 speaker set, but the sound is great.

I purchased this Samsung sound bar system after returning a Sony one. I am extremely happy with the sound and ease of use. If you are looking for just a sound bar system this one is a great option, and set up was so quick.

I had looked around for awhile for a sound bar and finally settled on this one after testing it out in store. The sound is great and the price was decent. I can now enjoy my movies at home with the sound quality they deserve.

Got lucky with this purchase since I got it as an open-box product. And to top it off the sound quality is great. Who wouldn't want a great product at such a great price?

Amazing sound paired with 70 in samsung 4K tv. Can almost rattle pictures off the wall with the base. Bluetooth pairing can be a little touchy, but had family over and used it to have dance party Blew everyone away.

Love the auto pair feature to my TV and the fact that it's wireless and Bluetooth compatible. It sounds great and even on lower volume the sound is much more rich than the TV audio itself. Easy setup and great price!!

I was looking to replace my old wired surround sound system. Originally went in to look at the LG but was impressed by this bar that was on display. This is just what I wanted, good sound and easy setup and use.

The sound bar and sub woofer go great with my tv! So glad we bought it because my tv isn't very loud! Some times though it sounds like it's buffering, I need to connect it to the tv instead of the wifi connect
