It was only missing the remote. Got home and realized you HAD to have a remote for pairing to Bluetooth. Didn't read the manual thoroughly. And no returns of course when buying from there. THANKFULLY I was able to order a "generic-brand" remote from Amazon that worked for cheap. Now it works fine and sounds good for a sound bar.

It is a 3.2 channel 340watt soundbar w/subwoofer so for the sale price, I thought I would try it. Good quality for TV shows, movies. The subwoofer is good. If you want to listen to music through the bluetooth, the max volume is 100 & is NOT loud. Probably best for a small living room or bedroom. The remote shape is horrible & the back of the remote slips off constantly & will not lock into place. The volume adjustment is a terrible design too. It mutes the volume while you are trying to turn up or down the volume because it is toggled together. A dedicated volume button would be best. Just an average soundbar. It's too bad there is no medium priced high quality wirh loud volume in sound/bar subwoofer combo. There is either cheap or expensive. Having to spend $600-1200 on a soundbar/subwoofer is outrageous.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.
This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

Great add on speaker for your TV

If you like to hear more "talking" in your speaker system, definitely get 3.1ch. The center speaker helps a lot. Otherwise you will hear more bass and not so clear speaking in your movies. Only negative which is also a positive - 2 weeks after I paid full price Best Buy had a sale and it was 40% less. Great that Best Buy has a price match, but wow 40% less???

Installed via HDMI/ARC port on 49" TCL 3 Roku TV with no issues. Functions well, and represents a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in sound quality from the previous SAMSUNG 2.1 200W unit it replaced. I got it for 30-35% price reduced out of box special, but would have paid the full price (~35% higher than the 2.1 ) for a >35% improvement in sound quality.

This soundbar has now been installed on two different TVs - one about ~8 years old and the other brand new. Both installations were a breeze and we love the bluetooth setup on the newer television. The soundbar provides great surround sound and base for the room (large family room).

There aren't as many sound and equializer settings as I would like and I feel like the remote that it comes with doesn't do much either. But with that being said, it is a good low profile product that looks great under a wall mounted TV. The subwoofer is also a great product. I paired this with teh Samsung surround wireless speakers.
