Very happy with the sound, quality and looks of this unit. Especially impressed with the Dolby 3D audio feature. For the average user this is a great buy for the price! However, the limited number of inputs (3 hdmi, optical, no AUX) or 4K passthough supports may cause those with multiple devices / more complicated setups to look elsewhere.

We bought a Samsung 75" Q90 tv. I had planned on getting an additional sound bar when we went to Best Buy. After deciding on the TV - asked about a sound bar to go with it. This was the first one the store rep recommended. The price was very reasonable ( a few hundred less than I had thought I was going to have to spend. Sounds great - a lot of adjustments to learn :-(

I never realized what a big difference having a quality sound did for our viewing pleasure. The Samsung HW-T650 was more than I intended to add to my TV but I am glad I did buy it. The subwoofer really adds a depth to the sound that I never realized was there. It is like going to the theater!

The sound is not quite as good as my huge old school stereo speakers connected to an Onkyo tuner, but it's good enough for watching TV and takes up way less space, and looks much cleaner/nicer. I can't get it to "connect" to my Samsung TV remote, so unfortunately we have to use one remote for sound and one for the TV.

The Samsung HW-K550 3.1 Channel 340 Watt Wireless subwoofer packs the extra bass and extra clarity that my picky ears were looking for. Having had surround sound for the last 20 years I have become really spoiled in having great sound when watching television. I just bought a new Samsung 4K UDH 8 series and I couldn't just have the television speakers, I needed the extra sound. I wanted something compact, easy to hook up (both are Samsung, which helps), minimal amount of wires and economical to vastly improve the television sound. I compared this one to the Samsung HW-KM45C HW-K450 2.1 Channel 300W Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer from a local retailer, and this one definitely added the little extra that I was looking for. Both are great products, there is nothing wrong with HW-KM45C and it is a little cheaper, but for those of you who are looking for something that's not super pricey, mid ranged, and has that little extra that hits the sweet spot in the ear, the HW-K550 is a great product. As with all these products, there is always a vast range of prices and technology, which I find rather overwhelming. I just found this one great for my ears, pocketbook and ease of connecting it to the television.

Sound quality is well above what I expected. Beautiful base.

I love Samsung's integration between their soundbars and their TV's. Being able to control EQ and acoustical characteristics is awesome. They also just work so well. The bass is good, and not overpowering for a decent sized room. The soundbar has great highs, and is targeted at the viewer.

I had put off buying a sound bar since so many people I know had bad experiences with them. My parents had tried two different ones and gave up. My son purchased this one after extensive research and we are thrilled with it. The sound is amazing and the ability to control and adjust the treble, base, woofer etc is exactly what makes this product exceptional.

I have been impressed with this setup so far. I also purchased rear speakers for it. At times, voices can be slightly difficult to hear, but there are ways to improve this through different settings. Overall, for the price, I think this is a good soundbar. Next time I will be purchasing something better. You can never go wrong with an awesome speaker setup.

For the cost, this is a good system. It is intuitive to set up and has several distinct settings for surround sound. I love the fact that the subwoofer is wireless and can be individually tuned for output. I did not expect to have a 5.1 system with this 3.1 package but the sound is surprisingly close to that.
