Only because my 55 inch TV is houses in a cabinet that raises and lowers the TV inside of it. The sound is superb. However. There are times when I’m watching an app on my TV and the sound just doesn’t seem loud enough. I don’t think it is an issue with this sound bar. It may be an issue with the TV. This soundbar recreates surround sound and is really nice.

A few items that I've encountered: - It powers on and off with my TV (Sony), which I like - Sound level varies from channel to channel. Haven't figured out how to change this. Some channels are very low audio and have to increase the volume significantly. I need to give it more time, but so far so good.

It could possibly be a source issue. You may want to try Smart Sound. The soundbar analyzes the content in real time and automatically provides the optimal sound field based on the characteristics of the content.
Press the Sound Mode button on your remote control and select Smart Sound.
