Sound bar and bass with blue-tooth are GARBAGE
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sound bar is cheap sounding and tin sounding. The bass is good but the mid range is horrific. I have had it for 3-months. Both my Wife and I got in an argument yesterday and we both told each other to leave the sound settings alone.!!! Come to find out, the settings magically reset or change themselves. Samsung tried to claim any sound setting less than 3.1 could not be played by their 2020, 650 sound bar. The Samsung 75" series RU8000FXZA will resort to stereo sound at best or TV mono speakers. The settings for the equalizer, also magically change. But not to a factory default, they just change. The SAMSUNG tech support does not want to help if the issue is more than their 1st or 2nd option to repair the issue over the phone or a complete RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT which erases all your information and you have to sign in all over again, 30-mins of your life wasted. SAMSUNG keeps your information on the cloud, so why not give you that option, if your information is still the same, rather than make you spend 30-mins setting everything up again and finding old passwords.. OH YES - most of Samsung TV's do not support newer internet and router settings above the 2.4 wifi. They did not work with the AMAZON RING security doorbell camera either. Your SAMSUNG TV will most likely be out of date on the software updates or behind on the bug fixes too. So you will need a computer and a thumb drive to download the newest update to your TV and then stick the thumb drive in your USB port and run the update. Then you get to re-register all your information again. I really want to warn you about the ambient mode sensor, it doesn't work either. This is a SAMSUNG self serving news article for the web browsers. "NEWS for 2020" by SAMSUNG "Samsung’s award-winning Ambient Mode has been updated for the 2020 TV line. Ambient Mode+ 4 offers more experiences geared towards users, designed to satisfy each individual’s needs and tastes." It worked until I got the updates but it was really pathetic even then. Samsung techs claim you will not see any changes in hues, tints, color brightness, clarity, or contrast. You should notice a very slight back lighting change if you are in a well lit room and you turn off all the lighting. That does not work on my Series 8000 55"/65" or 75" 2020 TV's. Oh the heat from the TV, it has actually been measured in my master bed room, a few dozen times with the 65" RU8000. The room is 8'h x 20'L x 15'w with a ceiling fan and furniture. I used the same measuring device each time so the changes would be consistent, even if the thermometer was off a degree or two, the changes in my room stayed consistent. At 11pm in Florida, the room has been a constant 76.3 F while the Great Room has been a constant hold at 76.0 Fat 11pm and within 90-mins, the room will not stay below 78.9 F and the room has an 18"x 18" return to draw out heat. The great room has 12' vaulted ceilings and 3-supply a/c grills with a 24"x 24" return grill 1-ceiling fan and the thermostat is in this room. It maintains +/- 0.5 degree above the set temp of 76 F. We have had Samsung's equal to the NU7100 series and 6900 series and they almost all got better pictures than the 4k RU8000... AGAIN, just because an option is on a 65" RU8000 doesn't mean you will be allowed to use that same function on any of their other RU8000 TV's so be extremely aware of what you like, and then make sure it is on the size screen in the same model that you want to buy. $4,400 plus for 3-Samsung series RU8000FXZA TV's and I am disappointed in all 3-models and Samsung could care less. The Q8 and Q9 are the only two that have any anti reflective products added to their screens. The Blacks are great but without the anti-reflect products, they would become mirrors.

Mr.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Somewhat disappointed. I bought it to replace an older Samsung speaker bar. The older bar was clearer. The new one is loud enough but it sometimes drowns out voices. Also the base could be stronger. My experience is that Samsung products were quality products, unfortunately not this time

Posted .Hi Captsouth,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung T650 Soundbar and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the sound performance of this unit.
To improve your experience, try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
Your soundbar features Smart Sound Mode to automatically analyze your content and optimize sound settings for the best audio delivery. You can also select from STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DTS VIRTUAL:X effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on the soundbar remote.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
If it isn't already, we also recommend connecting your soundbar via HDMI as this will give you the best audio.
To connect your soundbar and a device using HDMI:
1) Make sure the TV, soundbar, and device are turned off. Then, connect one end of an HDMI cable into any HDMI port on your TV (make a note of which one). Next, connect the other end to the HDMI OUT port on your soundbar.
2) Connect a second HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on your cable box or video game system to the HDMI IN port on your soundbar.
3) Turn your device on. Then, turn the soundbar on and press Source or Function to change the soundbar to HDMI.
4) Turn the TV on and press Source or Function to change the TV to the HDMI port that you connected the soundbar to in Step 1.
5) You will see a picture from the device on your TV, and hear audio from the soundbar.
I hope these tips help. If you need additional help with this issue, or have any questions or concerns with this soundbar, please reach out to us via any of the below options:
