Great look and sound for the price

It connected quickly to our Samsung TV. Also easy to connect via Bluetooth to a phone if you want to play music through it. We have had no issues with the woofer losing connectivity. For the price you can’t go wrong.

So Im going to look for a different one. I'm sure it would work fine for other samsung TV's but not mine. I was told it would sound good with a Q80 series TV , they were wrong.

Bass is definitely weak compared to my older Polk audio soundbar. I feel like it’s definitely not worth 250 plus dollars though. I was contemplating on trying out 5.1 vizio soundbar at the 200 dollar price range but then again I might just go for the JBL because you definitely can’t go wrong with JBL. I’m pretty mad that Best Buy was supposed to send my 2 rear speakers with my soundbar and they lost it in transit. I’ve waited 2 weeks for it and I finally called customer service and they said they’ll express ship it since it was their fault. Still waiting on my rear speakers. I have my soundbar hooked up to the hdmi arc and it connected to my Samsung TV instantly which is great but you have to get your settings correct to each thing you watch.

Thank you for your review of this Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar. I am very sorry that you are not completely happy with the bass performance.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Decided to buy a sound bar. I was looking at a different sound bar and an employee came to help. He steered me to this one saying it was a better sound bar and on sale for $100 cheaper. This thing has amazing sound and I don't have to turn the TV up to 100 to hear it lol

Sounds good, easy to use and gives you the lows & mids you’re probably missing (and makes you wonder how you’ve gone so long without them). Quite simply, the soundbar makes watching everything more enjoyable.

I got this on sale but I'd be pretty unhappy if I'd paid the full $399 retail price. Woofer isn't packing much bass and the bar isn't putting out much volume. I bought this to replace what I thought would be equivalent to my Sony HTCT780, which went bust. Although the HTCT780 retailed higher by almost $100 (at the time), this bar clearly couldn't even closely match the quality. Also, the HTC780 has (3) HDMI outs compared to the (1) that this bar has. That means I have to spend an additional $50-$100 anyway to get additional HDMI ports because...who just needs ONE HDMI out these days?! As I write this, I want to give it two stars but I knew it was (1) HDMI port out prior to purchase. Buyers remorse.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.
This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

We are happy with the sound. It works off optical hook up on ours, we have a Sony TV and sometimes sound will drop off if switching channels, but toggle back, it comes back on. We're not concerned.
