Our previous flat screens were wall mounted and my wife always complained about the sound quality. The sound bar makes a world of difference. We have had theatre sound as well in the past which was very nice, however this is so much more simple and the room is filled with sound.

Works well with Amazon Fire TV remote and TV I'm using. Clear center channel for voices during a movie. Its not a five star because the base is not as powerful as I thought it would be.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-T650 soundbar with a built-in center speaker and for your review. To improve your experience, try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
You can also try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

Excellent sound bar for the money

We selected it because of our really great experience with Samsung and the 3.1 spec was an upgrade over the 2.1 spec we have used in the past. Worked fine the first time including the blue tooth feature.

Thank you for purchasing this Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar featuring a dedicated center channel for clear dialogue and a wireless subwoofer for deep bass. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with performance.
Your soundbar features Smart Sound Mode to automatically analyze your content and optimize sound settings for the best audio delivery. You can also select from STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DTS VIRTUAL:X effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on the soundbar remote.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

TV mounts and install.

I had pre bought 4 mounts based on my new move. Tech came and said 3 wouldn't work. Had replacements on truck. Did the right thing and returned 3 ofthe 4. Service was Excellent but when scheduling get a Geek Square guy and not a 3rd party!

It does however make the voices come out more clearly which is why I purchased this particular sound bar in the first place. We have it connected with a cable I purchased to connect to the TV ARC port on my TV so I could use one remote. I’m going to try connecting it with the cable that came with it and see if that helps even though I will have to use a second remote. Hopefully that will solve the problem since it did cost quite a bit and nobody likes to throw money away. If it would work all the time I would give it 5 stars We’ll see what happens when I change cables.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-T650 Soundbar and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with your unit. You may want to first check that the cable connection is not loose. Remove the cable and connect again.
You may also want to initialize your soundbar again by pressing the - + (volume) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT” appears on the display when the soundbar is initialized.
Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by using a USB device.

Great Sound, but difficult to set up

But am able to get sound out of it, and really good sound...it's just not working the way the it is supposed to (as far as the lights and such)!!!!

Great clarity, lacks bass

Even with the bass all the way up, it still seems low. I've tried several spots around my living room but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

It does help, but not to the extent I had hoped. The music quality is very good. It was very easy to connect to our older model tv.
