    Not bad at all very easy to set up. Paired very easy with Samsung tv. A lot of options for difference sounds.

    This was easy to install, looks good and it works with Blue Tooth or HDMI cable. Great for movies that have big sound.

    Had a sound bar installed. Well worth the money to have you do it. Techs were in and out quickly, very neat, good job.

      Hi Silverback,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry that you are not happy with the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.

      This can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)

      If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 5.1 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.

      If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

    Great product and super installers. They did a great job remounting our tv and exclaiming split the details of the product.

    Wasn’t sure if adding the sound bar would be worth the additional cost. It was. Much, much better than the tv speakers.

    Lot of hits and misses trying to get it to sync with the tv, even though the tv is also Samsung

      Soundbar: Thank you for your review on the HW-T650 Samsung Soundbar. We value your feedback regarding the sound synchronization issue you are experiencing.

      If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

      You can also try the below to minimize the delay:
      1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV.
      2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0”
      3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV.

    Sound good.. I like the ARC feature. However, it cuts out randomly, and I have to disconnect and reconnect the power. I then found out my time for the extended warranty expired. And even if I bought it, I’d be without for a period of time while it was sent out to be checked.

    Today's surround sound is NOT was it was say 10 years ago. About 2010 there were DVD with apps that offer surround sound, 5 channels & when you watch a movie they sounded well,, sound loud and it was a good experience. Today I no longer have that type of set up so I find myself buying these set up (i also bought the rear speakers too) and am just OK with them.

    I wouldnt call it a great soundbar, but it is a good sound bar. Def an upgraded from TV speakers.
