Decent overall but not good with movies/dialogue

For general TV viewing, gaming, or music the T-650 works great. But if your issue is not being able to hear dialogue, especially in movies, this is not the soundbar for you. The does a terrible job with dialogue. The center speaker is very under powered/unbalanced to the output from the other speakers in the soundbar. The sub-woofer is decent but not great. If Samsung were to ask me, I'd suggest they either redesign this. It is not a good sound bar for the money. Loved it on day one because it is an improvement over the built-in TV speakers but, it only took playing the first movie to see the shortcomings of this system.

I find the soundbar to be temperamental in that it will adjust the volume when it feels like it. Even then when the sound is louder, it is not clear. For the price, I thought it would be a better quality sound.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-T650 soundbar and for your review. I am sorry you are experiencing volume fluctuations between different apps. It could possibly be a source issue. You may want to try Smart Sound. The soundbar analyzes the content in real time and automatically provides the optimal sound field based on the characteristics of the content.
Press the Sound Mode button on your remote control and select Smart Sound.

I thought it would be a louder, crisp clear sound, from my previous samsung sound bar I was upgrading, that I have had for 10 years. But not a huge difference st all. I had the volume 100 max on the soundbar, the t.v. volume is way higher. Paying more is not always the best quality.
