    This bar integrates perfectly with our older Samsung TV. And it can produce deep powerful bass! What it doesn’t do is produce particularly clear dialog… very disappointing! I got it on a good sale so that reduces the buyers remorse a little.

    I hooked this up to my Samsung TV thru the HDMI ARC port. The soundbar would not turn on with the TV half the time, and when it did, even with the TV set to output to the soundbar, the soundbar would display "TV SPKR" rather than outputting sound. Wasted half a day on this thing before boxing it right back up.

      Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar System. I am sorry to hear that you experienced issues with the soundbar not turning on with the TV and have returned the product.

      Should you wish to try a different soundbar in the future, in all configurations (Optical, Bluetooth, ARC, and Wi-Fi) when the TV is turned ON, the Soundbar will turn ON. If your soundbar is not turning on, it could be due to another reason. For example, if the Soundbar was used to connect to another device (say a smart phone), then it will remember the last device (smart phone) and wait for a command from that device (the smartphone) and ignore the TV ON command.
