    Was not impressed with the sound quality. I have a 50” Samsung television and believed the television speaker was better than the subwoofer. Was expecting a better performance. To be fair I didn’t make any adjustments.

      Thank you for purchasing this Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar featuring a dedicated center channel for clear dialogue and a wireless subwoofer for deep bass. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with performance.

      Your soundbar features Smart Sound Mode to automatically analyze your content and optimize sound settings for the best audio delivery. You can also select from STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DTS VIRTUAL:X effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on the soundbar remote.

      You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

      There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

    When it works it sounds ok. Have a lot of issue starting it up. Either needs to be turned on and off a few times and/or cycled through all inputs until it recognizes a signal.

      Hi TDunn,

      In all configurations (Optical, Bluetooth, ARC, and Wi-Fi) when the TV is turned ON, the Soundbar will turn ON. If your soundbar is not turning on, it could be due to another reason. For example, if the Soundbar was used to connect to another device (say a smart phone), then it will remember the last device (smart phone) and wait for a command from that device (the smartphone) and ignore the TV ON command.

      You may want to try using a HDMI-ARC connection to the TV. When the TV turns ON, it will send a command to turn on the Soundbar and forces the source on the Soundbar to change to HDMI-ARC. This would make the Soundbar change the source from the prior state it was in.

    I was very pleased upon initial installation of this system and the commensurate rear speakers that transpired about one month ago. However, a few days after installation, we began receiving very loud, interference or speaker failures with the system. We cannot power on or use the system at all. We are contacting the Geek Squad on Monday, July 20 to have them come to our home and investigate the source of this failure. Right now, I would just have to assume the system is bad and will need replaced, however, I am not technically adroit with this system and will rely on the Geek Squad to remedy the situation in however they discover that must be done.

    I love Samsung products but this sound bar Sound quality is not loud enough , the sound goes in and out so I’m not sure if it’s a Defective one and it supposed to do that so that’s why I don’t think it’s worth the money.
