It sometimes requires replugging in. It's not either source that the cable connects to, they are both free of defects...they are new. It's the cable. Getting a quality cable that will charge at the proper level for your device and or connect to transfer data. Or connect to your vehicle for calls, GPS and Streaming music in this after market overpriced Tariff cheap-scape is a real pain point.
