The Samsung 30" gas cooktop is an excellent product. The gas comes on evenly and immediately. The illuminated dials make identifying which burners are on is a real plus. I tend to leave burners on when an item cooks and this makes it almost impossible to ignore. Great feature. Recommend this item

We were looking for a gas cooktop to replace one that was so old, the markings on the knobs had worn off. This Samsung’s knobs light up if they are turned to the “on” position, so you can walk a distance away from the stove and still see that you’ve left one of the burners on. Each burner also heats up whatever you are cooking quickly. Highly recommend.

Love the looks but I wouldn't recommend. Really hard to clean. The control panel got discolored from cleaning products and Samsung was terrible on handling the issue. No more Samsung appliances.

Great product,great options best looking product !

I was a little worried that the 5 burners and some being smaller than the center or the one that is next in size would not cook as much as I liked. Great space and burning power on all of the burners. The only negative is the knobs to smear and spot easily, unlike the ovens. The design of the knobs are great though and how they light up.

Works great looks great. You can remove the wifi receiver, and it comes with a plastic cover when you remove the wifi reciver.

Giving average rating for now until we are able to actually use the product. Cooktop was delivered in advance of kitchen remodel, so we stored it in the box to keep it safe. Unfortunately, when we were finally ready to install, the product was damaged inside the box. Called Best Buy and was immediately shuffled off to Samsung. Now Samsung needs to send a technician out to evaluate and determine if the item can be repaired or not and if it is even Samsung's problem. In the meantime, we have no cooktop and had to purchase a hot plate just to do some simple cooking. Good thing it's grilling weather. Word to the wise, check inside the box even if it looks to be in good condition like ours was.

Excellent cook top, plenty of space to cook a large meal!

So far, so great! Lights quickly and backlighting is a nice blue. Easy to clean by lifting of grates (3 sections). Attractive stovetop worth the few more dollars than some of the other models out there and a good balance of price, function, aesthetics.

Do not purchase this cooktop. The finish on the front panel by the knobs discolored in less than a year. We only used appropriate stainless steel cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Samsung sent a tech but refused to repair the discolored panel because the damage is "cosmetic". Part of the reason we purchased this expensive cooktop was the style and we did not expect that to deteriorate in 11 months. Samsung also said you should only clean it with water to avoid damage. Can you imagine cleaning a cooktop with ONLY water? I really wish I would have purchased a different brand.
