I bought it because I have a small kitchen and I love to cook, so I was attracted to the double oven feature as well as the air fryer option. However, none of the reasons I initially purchased this actually work efficiently or are remotely rationally designed. The air fryer function only works when you remove the oven divider (which is cumbersome). So it's not like you can pop your morning breakfast muffin in the air fryer and go about your day -- you have to find a large clean suface to set the oven divider on and then put it back?? Not convenient. Additionally, if you're using the double oven feature, both of your dishes are going to burn if cooking to your normal recipes' bake times. The heating elements are too close to the racks, so you have to keep an eye on them. Again, not convenient especially if you're say...hosting Thanksgiving and that's why you chose this oven to start with. Lastly, the buttons on the range hardly recognize touch. Both when the oven(s) preheat and when the timers go off it plays the longest, most obnoxious song as you're continually having to push the buttons that won't recognize you're pushing them. I truly love to cook. It's one of my great passions, but the sound of this oven have the shrill effect of a screaming baby. I really wish I saved myself the money (and the hassle) and bought a base-model. I tried to exchange it, but was mistaken on the return window as I'm merely a Best Buy Citi Card Holder and not whatever membership I actually needed according to the customer service representative that said there was nothing she could do for me. Not only will this turn me off of Samsung appliances, but of using my Best Buy credit card in the future. Another lesson in "simplest is best."

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were very excited to purchase this model last year for it's split oven as we use our over frequently for a single cookie sheet of frozen appetizers. Indeed, after a year, this is the feature we love the most. Cook time in the top 1/2 of the oven is typically 20% less than our previous full size non-convection oven. A tray of Totinos takes ~8 minutes instead of 12, for example. Unfortunately, the rest of the stove is less than impressive. First, the labels on the control panel for the knobs lacks contrast with the stainless steel making it almost impossible to read which know controls which burner and the hi/lo labeling. Second, the glass cook top scratches SO easily. Any movement of a pan on the top can leave scratches. Third, the glass cook top is impossible to keep clean. The only way to get it to look clean is to use glass cleaner and a lint free rag. Fourth, the cooking timer for the oven doesn't wait for the oven to reach the desired temperature, but instead starts counting down immediately. Not a big deal for cooking an hour or so, but if you're only cooking 10 minutes and it takes 2 minutes to preheat, your going to have undercooked food. Lastly, my biggest disappointment is that at just 14 months since we've had the stove, the back left burner shorted out, threw the breaker and now no longer works.

First preheat the oven to a desired temperature then put in the toast or whatever food. Otherwise, if you put in the food while oven is heating up, the food will burn . Also, the oven top glass requires constant cleaning.
