Still getting used to it

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The range is pretty, but it seems to take a very long while to heat to the temperature needed to begin cooking and the additional expense of needing to hire a separate tradesman to install electrical and remove the gas connections was never communicated. This added an extra day from work and another $1,000 to the total cost.

I am not sure why they would produce something like this. We've owned it for less than 6 months and have many random scratches on the top. Out last glass top was 15 years old and had zero scratches (same use and pans). I would not recommend this stove for that reason. Otherwise it's been great!

Posted .ScottS, it can be frustrating when a glass stovetop gets scratched despite the care you take with your cookware. Let us help you out.
Please refer to pages 24-25 of the range's manual, specifically the sections "Using the Proper Cookware," "Choosing the Proper Cookware," and "Protecting the Cooktop," as well as pages 44-46, which cover "Care and Cleaning of the Oven" and "Care and Cleaning of the Glass Cooktop."
