It is likely to stop functioning properly within a few months, and the manufacturer’s warranty offers no protection, as they find ways to deny. Stay away and go with a different brand

If you google everything that is wrong with the Samsung appliances, this fits the bill. Uneven heating in the oven, slow to heat up burners, and very slow to heat up in the oven. Our last stove was a Maytag and lasted almost 20 years. It was a smooth top and I miss it. When this one dies, I do not think I'll be missing it much.

Does not boil fast enough!

My old range boils twice as fast and it was more than 10 years old. I strongly suggest boiling water in advance when your making soups, broths, or stews. When boiling meats for prep to soften, its painfully slow. Sad to be purchasing such a nice range with one major flaw.

Best Buy said I have a year and a half warranty- Samsung says a year! I spent 861.00 and got a year’s use! Samsung was no help, only wanted to sit up a service call but couldn’t tell me what that charge would be. Very disappointed and mad for losing so much money! Do not buy!

Don’t buy, I regret it!

I would have to pay close to the cost of a new one to repair it. I take extra care of my appliances using only approved cleaners and cleaning techniques for the glass top, but the quality of the top on this is not good! I had a Whirlpool one for 15 years and no issues other than the oven going out on me and it was time to replace… not one chip on that glass top… don’t buy because Samsung does not stand behind their product…. I am stuck with this until it goes out.
