I searched all of the major brands and models at various stores and online retailers, read reviews and even called Samsung for Q&A before I settled on a Samsung FX520BGS model. Then the hunt began for my new appliance. I visited all of the major chains and branch stores in the area only to realize that even if they had one on display, the item was special order. After 4 hours of travelling around, I decided it was time to head home and order the appliance. BestBuy was the last stop of the evening so that I could purchase another item, and low and behold, my appliance was sitting in the isle, with a reduced price. After inquiring about the unit, I was told that it was returned to the store because the previous buyer could not figure out how to change this model from NG to LP. I was able to pick this unit up for half-price since it was "returned". Imagine my surprise! Now, I know this was more about my purchase experience and not about the appliance itself, but let me tell you... I was so impressed with the features and reviews of this model, not to mention the brand name that everyone knows, I was not willing to settle for any other model or unit. I would have gladly payed the special order pricing, the shipping, the delivery and setup fees from another store but BestBuy cut out the hassle and gave me a deal that no sane person could walk away from. In the end, this is the most efficient appliance I have owned to date. From the looks, the features, the heavy duty construction and the ease of use you could not possibly go wrong.

This was a great range for the money. Great features, Excellent quality can’t beat the price for a high end look that this range has. My only complaint is that it didn't come with a griddle like so many gas ranges do. Also it was very easy to self-install. Had appliance installed and running within in a hour of delivery. You do need to by the gas install kit separately.

Like the look of our new appliances and the oven/stove in particular has great features. No problems functioning at all. Only thing I wish was better is that the black top shows every crumb that falls from cooking and the grates are hard to keep clean. Nothing major but the contrast of the black makes it stand out when crumbs or spills happen.

I was shopping around online for a new stove and came across this beauty on another website. After reading the reviews and deciding this was the one I shopped around for the best price and Best Buy beat everyone else out of the water. The stove is 1000 times better than my last dinosaur stove so my opinion may be a bit biased; but, this stove is really great. I love the 5 burners, and I love love love the power burners in the front. It's amazing how much quicker I can bring a pot of water to boil now. I think I've used every aspect of this stove (power burners, simmer burner, center oval burner, convection bake), with the exception of the roast feature. Not sure I'll be using that much. The controls are very easy to understand/learn. My only "complaint" would be it's a little difficult to keep clean. But that's not really valid because it's stainless and stainless does require a bit more maintenance. I also have a problem of crumbs falling under the grates but I just have to remove the grates to wipe it clean. So honestly it's not something to complain about as these are expected. Overall I would definitely recommend this stove to anyone.

The range looks good and performs great. Like the number of top burners and also the convection feature in the oven. Cooks fast and even. Got this at a good discount around Presidents Day sale. Have since seen in other stores for $300-400 more than I paid. Overall good purchase.

I really love my new oven range. The price was originally about $1200ish, and I bought it on sale at Best Buy for under $1000. I was very happy about that. I have three other Samsung appliances, and wanted to stay with the brand. I was able to get it for a good price and that made me happy. It was also delivered on a day that was convenient for me, haul away my old one for free, and price for hook up (because it is a gas range) was $130- more than half the price it would have been if I went through Lowes (whom I usually buy my appliances from). My old stove was an old GE that couldn't keep its oven warm, and took a long time to cook. It's nice to work with something new. Sadly, my oven range was delivered damaged. Somehow the storage drawer at the bottom of the oven is dented. The delivery man told me that he called the store and ordered the part to replace it. Three weeks later, I still had a dented storage drawer. I called the store, they told me that the delivery company would contact me about ordering a new drawer. The company contacted me to tell me that they didn't order new storage parts, and that the store is supposed to do it. So, I called the store again. The manager told me that he would call me back when he figured out what to do. It's been almost a week since I heard from him. I probably won't buy another appliance from Best Buy again, which is bad because I have two more big appliances to purchase before my kitchen is done. To spend $1000ish on an oven range that comes dented is heartbreaking. I'd just like my drawer fixed. I had a bad feeling about ordering through this company, but the price was right. Now, with the hassle of trying to get a damaged part replaced, I'm reconsidering my decision. I should have stuck with Lowes. I know this wouldn't have happened.

Range was floor model so I don't have issues with the chip on the top. I got it for 1/2 off retail, but, as a Bestbuy elite member, I didn't receive any points towards my account. Now I have to go to my account and jump through hoops for the points. Yeah:( Otherwise, very pleased with the purchase.

I love my new oven. I read lots of reviews and the only thing I kept seeing was that if you had a problem, Samsung repair service was really a hassle. I decided to buy the oven at Best Buy and get their service warranty and eliminate dealing with Samsung.

I bought this stove about a month ago for when I decided to remodel my kitchen. The stove has five strong burners and the oven can do traditional baking, as well as convection cooking. I love that the stove has many features and all the features are easy to operate and highly functional. The only downside is that since it is stainless steel, keeping it clean is hard to do and generally has to be done after each use to prevent build up.

The range works well. Only complaint that I have is that it sticks away from he wall because there is not adequate space for the gas line behind this. May require a re-pipe of the gas supply in order for unit to slide back anothe 2 inches.

one of the best stoves I have ever used . I love the fact I can cook so much faster because of the different heat on individual burners and even though its not a true convection it does very well with baked items .it use to take about 15 min to preheat oven to 400 this one does it in 5 . it is also easy to clean . if I was going to say one bad thing it would be the drawer size its only good for baking sheets but I guess you give up drawer space for oven space.

great condition, no problems everything works. It is a top of the line model, it has every option you can get on a range. Convection oven and broiler, warming drawer, large burners

This stove is great. It is a decent value for the price; not an excellent value, but still very good. The convection oven is perfect and I don't think I'll ever use a standard oven again. The oven also heats up much faster than my last stove. The ONLY complaint I have with this stove is that the stove burners don't have as much range as I would expect. It seems like I have a "low" and a "High" setting when I adjust the stove top burners. I previously used a gas stove and it had a very good range from low to high, but the flame on this stove does not move in tandem with the burner knob. Yes, the flame gets bigger when I adjust it to high and the flame gets smaller when I adjust it to low, but in between low and high the flame doesn't move too much.

We love it!!! When we started looking at stoves I thought we should stay with an electric stove. My better half who does all the cooking kept telling me that gas is better. The days before we replaced it we were setting the temperature dial at 425 degrees just to get it close to 350 degrees. So we headed out and started comparing. I will say this was a great purchase. The oven heats up quickly and holds its temperature. If you leave the door open for to long it lets you know it. Our baked goods take half the time it use to take. The stove top is great. I love having more control over the temperature for my pots and pans. This stove has made it so much easier to cook and it doesn't seem like such a chore anymore. The only issue we have had is getting the top grates clean after a messy cook night. Other than that I would highly recommend this stove to everyone!!!

We were looking to replace our 25+ year old combination gas range/2 oven set-up with a newer look range. After a lot of research and waiting for the right deal (sale), we picked this range with a convection oven. RIght from the "get-go", it's been a real pleasure cooking our favorite dishes with it. We don't use as much gas to get the needed heat for our cooking, and clean-up is a breeze. Surprisingly, the oval central burner has been a true delight with a non-Samsung cast iron griddle/grille that fits perfectly over the burner. The stainless steel has kept its good looks after several months with just an occasional wipe-down using a micro-fiber cloth. And the dark stove-top stays clean with just paper towels and Windex. Well worth the wait for a great sale between Thanksgiving and Christmas. You won't be disappointed with this range.

My wife loves the convention bake feature and I am very happy with the burners especial the front two. They are so powerful and help to cut down cooking time. Boiling a pot of water took less then 10 minutes, amost half of the time it used to take on our old whirlpool's. Didn't expect to get it from BestBuy but couldn't resist their price matching on deliver & installation .

We remodeled our no existent kitchen and needed a new stove. We knew we wanted gas and that was the only requirement. Shopping at best buy was so easy since lots of models were on display. This has heavy grates, the center oval burner and 3 specialty burners which has turned out to be more useful than I imagined. Baking has never been so easy with the convection bake...have not tried the convection roast yet but we will. The knobs are heavy and feel right, not flimsy. The SS front is easy to keep clean. The oven is larger than others on the market which will make the next holiday easier. The only gripe I have (and it is MINOR ) is that the clock is bright blue and sometimes hard(ish) to read but it is by no means a deal breaker. This range is a fantastic piece of equipment that we plan on taking with us when we move. You will not be disappointed if you look at this model for purchase.

this is a fast gas cooking unit. love it, but there is a learning curve. had an older gas range and it didn't heat as fast. have to keep heat level lower. haven't used the convection oven yet, but sure it will be super. love Samsung products.

We bought this stove on a sale and so happy with the purchase! The 5 burners are a great feature for multi cooking purposes. The burner for boiling water in a minute or so has been awesome! Everyone that sees it loves the stove and it's high end look! Well worth the price.
