This refrigerator seems to be noisy, incessently running at a very audible sound level. I am planning on calling Samsung about it next week, as I am not sure if we can bear it. Secondly, IMHO, the design of the drawers/doors is poor. Doors open to (only) 140 degrees (page 10 of the owner's manual) which is perfectly functional for gaining access to items kept on the main shelves, but will give access to only the front half of the drawers. Thus, the drawers are designed to stop or lock at their halfway point when pulling them out...in order not to hit the doors, I suspect. Items kept in the back half of the drawers are difficult to access. Online, (not the owner's manual), we found a site which stated that in order to pull the top drawers out further, called humidity drawers, to direct the pull of either drawer towards the center of the refridgerator, which would "unlock" either of these two drawers. This works. This technique does not work on the bottom full width "pantry" drawer. In the event of removing the drawers for cleaning, a shelf (or shelves) in one or both doors would have to be removed first. If the doors opened wider, this would not be necessary. There must be a good reason for the doors to be designed to only open 140 degrees, but I do not know what that reason is.

We purchased this refrigerator around Thanksgiving time the first one was delivered very noisy we had to return it had another one delivered not as noisy but it is noisy as well I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator again. Not a good product. It’s beautiful though and keeps the food cold.

I needed a refrigerator that fit within a certain height restriction, and there aren't too many french door stainless options at a slightly shorter than standard height. This is one of them. I do appreciate the ability to open either door independently, although they do need to be pushed shut rather deliberately. The refrigerator is noisier than average, in my experience. While not constant, the humming/revving of the compressor can at times be irritating. One additional inconvenience is that condensation will form on the inside of doors when using the Energy Saver mode. Samsung is well aware of this, placing numerous warnings on the manuals and on the refrigerator itself about condensation and/or frost forming. Based on this and reviews read, I would imagine the Energy Saver mode can be used in about 2% of homes based on temperature, humidity, etc. I'm now running the refrigerator with Energy Saver mode off with no condensation problems. Overall, I've been satisfied with the refrigerator, but I'm sure there are better appliances for the price if you don't have any size restrictions.

This is the first French door refrigerator we’ve owned coupled with a drawer freezer so we are still getting used to the layout. Missing storage for small jars and bottles. The other reviews noted the noisy freezer and we hear it as well. We are not enamored with the condensation that appears on the inside edges of the French doors and will be following up with the Geek Squad.

First of all, this fridge is great for apartment living or anywhere with a smaller fridge area. The depth of the fridge really gives you the space that you need to store anything you can think of. The long drawer on the bottom is also great for smaller, thin, items such as tortillas, pita and whatnot. It also keeps everything very cool and the freezer compartments allow for various configurations. On to the quirks. This fridge is a bit loud. Every once in a while the compressor or whatever it is inside the fridge makes a low humming drone that is always audible. Even in other rooms. It becomes white noise after a day or so, but it's worth noting. Also there is a door ajar function that beeps when the doors are open for too long. Super annoying when putting groceries away.

So far this fridge is doing what we expected. It is a little noisier then oir 20 year old Kenmoore we replaced. Ice maker is better an very efficient.

This was the only French door that fit my space so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. It looks great. It’s super deep so things can get lost if you don’t arrange it perfectly- that goes for the deli drawer also bc it doesn’t pull out all the way. The left door doesn’t stay open and I’m not sure if that a defect or not. It was loud at first but got better over the first week or so and now I don’t notice it and I’m someone who is very sensitive to sounds.

So far it has been a good refrigerator. One of only 3 made to fit our space. Its a little noisey compared to our old fridge.

This is one beautiful fridge inside and out! Very nice stainless front and stylish handles.. Bright LED lights illuminate the fridge and freezer interior brilliantly. Easy to use and access digital controls. Big freezer drawer slides out easily. Moves easy as it sits on rollers, also has easy to adjust front leveling feet. The only cons I have; it's a bit noisier than I would like & would like the french doors to open a few more degrees. But imagine will get used to it. At 65 3/8 inches high (without the hinges), it's the only french door fridge I could find that fit under my low cabinet....kudos to Samsung for making it! Love the way it looks in my kitchen, would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Nice sleek looking fridge with plenty of room in it. Tons of space in both the fridge and freezer. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it can be a bit noisy at times. Doesn't bother me but if you are looking for a quiet fridge it might.

The good is that the fridge is beautiful and has plenty of space; it fit in our strict dimensions available in our kitchen and was in a style we liked. The bad is that not even three months in operation the fridge has failed us and no longer cooling. --- Story and Details: For about a month now we have been dealing with a loud noise coming from the fridge akin to the sound of a tiny lawnmower running. It disrupts our generally quiet home and area; it is not a soothing background noise to sleep to either. For the duration of this month we have been dealing with Samsung service sending a technician multiple times to review the issues with the fridge until finally the decision was made to order a replacement part for the damaged fan. As I write this review now the fridge has just completely failed to cool and am now at risk of spoiling much of the fridge contents. --- I may have just received the bad egg of a product from Samsung's massive line of appliances and products; I hesitate to expect quality when a company does so much. While there is still good in the product as I have mentioned, my experience is just an account of a massive failure that leaves me dissatisfied with my purchase.

I have an older home and this is the only fridge of this style that would fit. So far seems good. Plenty of room inside .a Little noiseier than my old fridge (slight humming),but after awhile I don't notice. Good at making ice.

I absolutely love my new refrigerator; its slim, sleek & sexy!! I was worried about finding a nice refrigerator to fit the small space in my kitchen but this one eased all my worries. The only issue is the loud noise it makes every now and again. I read reviews religiously, and there were other consumers who complained about the same thing. It doesn't happen very often but when it does it is noticeable....not sure what causes it. I dont use the ice maker or the energy saver feature and the refrigerator has been working just fine. I'm delighted with my purchase.

It has good space inside. I had read reviews about it being very noisy & they were true! I don't know why it's so noisy, and I would exchange it for different brand, but it was difficult to find a frig for the small space I had for it, so I'm keeping it. Other than the noise, it is a nice frig. It looks nice too! Thanks to Jason, the home adivisor at Best Buy, he found the perfect size frig. Jason even came to my home to measure the space & then I met him at the store to select it. He went above & beyond! Being patient, available & professional!

I wish it had a compartment on the door for margarine & butter. We use both stick and container and I have to stack them in one of the side compartments. I've added a few separate little baskets to hold smaller items (like a basket for packages of mixed veggies, etc.) to make things a little easier to organize in the freezer. It does run a little louder than I hoped, but starting to get use to that too. We went from the top freezer for many years so it's a matter of getting use to where to store things. We've had it for about a month and so far so good.

The new refrigerator is a great addition to our kitchen. Good storage space, nice interior lighting. At first I noticed it was a bit loud, but after a few weeks it has perhaps broken itself in, and runs much quieter now.Overall we are very pleased at this point with our purchase. Our Best Buy delivery people were fantastic, as well.

I've had this fridge for about a month now and love it. It looks great in my kitchen and was a very easy setup and install. It does tend to run a little loud though. It gets marked up with fingerprints pretty easily so you'll definitely want some stainless steel wipes on hand.

For the size of the refrigerator it is bigger on the inside. The freezer is smaller then I would like. Looks good in Stainless with easy clean of fingerprints. The refrigerator makes a little bit more noise than what we were used to. Overall it's a Nice refrigerator andwe are still getting used to it.

I’ve only had it for a couple of months so I will have to update this review. Overall there haven’t been any issues aside from the noise when it is making ice. I got it on sale and received a gift card so I can’t complain. If you have a small space like me then this is a great option.

The size fit our space well (good volume for the height); it's well-organized with nice parts, good LED lights. Major drawbacks are that it is not efficient, runs a lot, and is somewhat noisy.
