    I purchased a suite of Samsung kitchen appliances from Best Buy. The pandemic struck before they were installed. On June 2nd I followed up about my upcoming installation because I am HIGH RISK and have a surgery quickly approaching. I asked that precautions be taken on June 4. On that day my stove was installed. I was told my dishwasher couldn't be installed because a pipe needed to be cut. I was asked to order the tool and fitting which I did. He shut off the hot water to my I kitchen sink. I had the items he requested the next day. A week later an installer came to put in my fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The microwave was installed. The hot water was still not restored although I asked for it to be corrected. Quarter round and door trim were removed from my home in an attempt to install my fridge. The next week TWO installers arrived which doubles my risk. The dishwasher was finally installed. Currently I have a refrigerator in the middle of my kitchen. It has been there since June 9th when the Best Buy installer put it there. I have had numerous conversations with Shawn and Melody at the University location in West Des Moines. I CONTINUE TO INITIATE CONTACT. I need my refrigerator installed correctly by Thursday June 24. That is TWENTY DAYS to install four items correctly. Not only is this ridiculous chaos with Best Buy ludicris when I spent thousands of dollars but it is unbelievable that it is still not completed. As if my surgery wasn't stressful enough. I made it clear that I will be having tumors removed from my neck and needed the appliances I paid for installed correctly by Thursday. Tried to call today and the Managers are refusing to speak to me and have referred me to the Appliance Resolution Center. I am blown away by their HORRIBLE custoner servuce. Now I have to go through a third party to get the damage to my home repaired and still do not have the correct refrigerator or any refund.

    Hinge broke in less than 2yrs. No kids just me and my wife. Broke when I opened the fridge to get some water. Customer service said I have to buy the part since it’s more than a year old. Wow. I Guess I picked the wrong brand fridge...

    good small kitchen refrigerator, bad geek squad

    The good points of this refrigerator are that it a nice French door fridge that works in a small space and is surprisingly deep with lots of room. My problem with it so far is that we discovered a couple of weeks after delivery that one of the small plastic wheels that keep the top freezer drawer on track was missing. The freezer parts are more cheap and plastic-y than I would like. Had bought the geek squad extra protection so we called them, they said they had no one to send out to us despite us buying the protection. My husband spent half an hour with a best buy rep giving them the serial number and describing what was missing. They said they couldn't send anyone out but would order the part for us and have it sent in case we could get it in there ourselves. The rep said he would try to overnight it but it might take up to 5 days. It has now been almost two weeks and there is no indication any part is coming or that the rep addressed our issue. I thought geek quad protection meant they had to send someone out or fix it but apparently not. wish I had gone with a more upscale model from a different company now that I see what I am left with.

    Bought this a month ago and it doesn't work. Freezer won't freeze, fridge spoiled all our food. Disappointing for only a month old. Samsung customer service was no help in sending us a repair man.

    Do not purchase anything from the store. You could never get a hold of anybody for any kind of help or service and they keep putting on hold. I’ve had a completely very awful experience I will never deal with them again

    BE WARNED, these refrigerators are DEFECTIVE

    I would give this refrigerator no stars if possible. Unfortunately, we had very few choices during the Covid shortage. It worked fine for the first year. During the second year, it started making very loud fan noises that stopped when the doors were opened but functioned normally otherwise. We are now in the third year. The icemaker has failed completely and it is now making a new grinding noise in addition to the old noise. While Samsung is now well known for defective ice-makers, they have refused to provide any assistance for a known defect. Don't trust the good reviews. Most things work well initially. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to reviews that speak to long-term reliance. There are not many for Samsung refrigerators.
