    I purchased a suite of Samsung kitchen appliances from Best Buy. The pandemic struck before they were installed. On June 2nd I followed up about my upcoming installation because I am HIGH RISK and have a surgery quickly approaching. I asked that precautions be taken on June 4. On that day my stove was installed. I was told my dishwasher couldn't be installed because a pipe needed to be cut. I was asked to order the tool and fitting which I did. He shut off the hot water to my I kitchen sink. I had the items he requested the next day. A week later an installer came to put in my fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The microwave was installed. The hot water was still not restored although I asked for it to be corrected. Quarter round and door trim were removed from my home in an attempt to install my fridge. The next week TWO installers arrived which doubles my risk. The dishwasher was finally installed. Currently I have a refrigerator in the middle of my kitchen. It has been there since June 9th when the Best Buy installer put it there. I have had numerous conversations with Shawn and Melody at the University location in West Des Moines. I CONTINUE TO INITIATE CONTACT. I need my refrigerator installed correctly by Thursday June 24. That is TWENTY DAYS to install four items correctly. Not only is this ridiculous chaos with Best Buy ludicris when I spent thousands of dollars but it is unbelievable that it is still not completed. As if my surgery wasn't stressful enough. I made it clear that I will be having tumors removed from my neck and needed the appliances I paid for installed correctly by Thursday. Tried to call today and the Managers are refusing to speak to me and have referred me to the Appliance Resolution Center. I am blown away by their HORRIBLE custoner servuce. Now I have to go through a third party to get the damage to my home repaired and still do not have the correct refrigerator or any refund.

    Hinge broke in less than 2yrs. No kids just me and my wife. Broke when I opened the fridge to get some water. Customer service said I have to buy the part since it’s more than a year old. Wow. I Guess I picked the wrong brand fridge...

    This refrigerator leaked from the 1st day they sent it to me. I called samsung many times and they sent someone to fix it but was not successful. After 3 months I still have a leaking refrigerator. Currently waiting for my claim so Samsung or Bestbuy will send me a new working refrigerator. From, Disappointed customer

    We purchased this item at your Duarte location as an open box item. The item listed minimal scratches which we were okay with. When bringing the product home and unpackaging fully we discovered it was more then minor scratches. There was food in the fridge as well as mold in the freezer from condensation. I’ve been a loyal customer with Best Buy and this experIence has made me second guess making any further big purchases from your stores. I would think quality is of upmost importance and that even an open box item would’ve been throughly cleaned.

    This is the loudest refrigerator I have ever had. My old one was 29 years old and ran much quieter. I tried to return it to Best Buy but I had purchased it more than 14 days ago so I’m stuck with it. I am. NOT HAPPY! I spent 1500 plus for a refrigerator that sounds like a tractor at times. Can anyone suggest a solution? I’m thinking of selling it at a loss just so I can have some quiet and peace of mind.I spoke to a few friends who also have Samsung refrigerators and they also said that theirs is quite loud. SMH...

    Cheap plastics

    Horrible design flaw. The crisper shelf has no middle support the drawers hanger on a plastic middle rail. Needless to say it cracked in three places and now the drawers are sitting on the cheese and coldcut compartment. Samung sent a company out and they said not samsungs fault. As you can see drawers hang on unsupported middle arm

    Samsung refrigerators are JUNK.

    Do NOT buy a Samsung refrigerator. If you look online people will back up what I’m reviewing. There is a flaw in the way they designed the ice maker in the refrigerator area. After a year and out of warranty, our ice maker freezes up at least once a week. We have to either chip out the frost or totally defrost it with a hair dryer. We paid over $3000 for a counter depth and its literally JUNK. Don’t make the same mistake we made.

    First one arrived without a plug, second dented! The shelves in the middle do not align. The warranty will not cover it until after 30 days of delivery. Then, after they assess the issue, they will come and hopefully fix it. I gave up two days of my life waiting for it and it is poorly constructed. Hopefully, it will last as long as my Amana 2001 which I kept "just in case".

    I don't recommend this fridge. The freezer constantly produces frost despite calling for trouble-shooting which resulted in no improvement. Also, this fridge makes really loud noises that our last fridge never made. Motor is loud and frequently sounds like it's about to die, even though it is brand new.

    Nice fridge, but don’t buy black stainless steel

    It’s a really nice looking fridge. Lots of room. But, we decided to spend a little more and buy the black stainless steel and really regret it. The finish is so delicate that it scratches very easily with any magnet, piece of paper or even when wiping with a paper towel. I’m sure the other finishes are more durable. It also seems to be running a lot and one of the doors is already squeaking. Perhaps just stick to phones and tablets for Samsung.

    Just about two to three months after buying this refrigerator, we started hearing noises coming from it that sounded like a motor, like a freak train engine. We've owned this for about ten months now and the noises have accelerated over that period of time. When we first started to hear the noises, it didn't have any cooling problem, but now, the top compartment (refrigerator part) has stopped cooling. It is now warm inside and smells (even if I've thrown away food from inside). The bottom compartment (freezer) is not also as cold as it used to be. I've spoken with Geek Squad and they said that the problem is the fan in the back has frozen and that's where the noise is coming from. The fan is trying to run but it can't because of all that ice accumulation. They said the refrigerator needs to be defrosted, but we have no time to do that. After awhile, the same problem is going to happen, and we certainly don't have time to keep doing that. It's all a hassle. Needing to replace this for a better one.

    Frig is loud when making ice. Bought 7 months ago. Condensation everywhere in the fridge raider the top drawer of the freezer has icicles on my food. Something must be wrong with the defrost mechanism not sure waiting for tech-support don't waste your time or your money this fridge sucks

    Fridge we bought

    This delivery was a major disappointment. We picked a fridge in the Brockton store because our fridge broke and we needed one right away. The fridge was damage free as marked on our sales slip. When the truck came the guys showed us one small scratch and a small dent on the sides of the fridge. The corners were covered with card board and the fridge was wrapped in a clear plastic. Because the slight damage was on the sides and we needed a fridge quickly we agreed to take it. They came in and set it up and as they were taking our old fridge an oily liquid spilled on the floor that I had to clean up so we really didn't look at the new fridge until they were gone. There are 3 small dents in the middle of the freezer door and a larger dent on the top side of the freezer door. There is a very large dent on the bottom on the left side of the fridge. This was a fridge that had no damage and because of needing a fridge quickly we had to keep this. We will never buy another appliance from Best Buy and will not recommend that people do. I called the Best Buy in Dedham twice to try and fix this and both times I was hung up on. The side damage we could live with but the front of the fridge is just very upsetting and should not have happened. Heidi Bromley

    Unfortunately the entire experience buying this refrigerator was awful. Now that we finally have our new refrigerator, the juice was simply not worth squeeze. We had an awful time with delivery, customer service and appropriate compensation for the trouble Best Buy put us through. The irony is that after we finally got our much needed refrigerator, never realized that the doors are set to not open all of the way so you are unable to pull drawers out fully unless you remove the door hinge. We also have dealt with condensation in the refrigerator and have put our refrigerator setting to the coldest setting as the factory setting was not removing the condensation or getting the refrigerator to 40 degrees (or colder).

    I've had this fridge for about a month now, and already I've found two screws that fell off/out of something in the freezer part, and some noisy rattle has developed when the compressor turns on. That aside the space management just really isn't there. All of the shelves including the door shelves seem to be just an inch shy of being the right height. Lastly, the doors require a good amount of force to open and close, which means everything that are in the doors will clank and rattle every time you access the firdge. Overall just poor design.

    It took 3 appointments to get the ice maker hooked up, and now my kitchen plumbing is messed up and all I have is a trickle of brown water from my sink. I've been unable to get Best Buy to follow up to fix this. Wish I could give zero stars. The fridge itself is clearly not working right, seals are not functioning as there is condensation on the outer doors and all my food inside is completely wet. And I cannot get help from Best Buy service.

    After 11 months of owning it (and being generally happy - it's noisy but stylish and spacious), I came home to a freezerful of ruined food, frost and ice built up over everything, water under the fridge. From searching online, I now see that the ice maker is apparently defective and the leaking water may have even damaged the electrical outlet in the basement just below the floor. Samsung customer service has been less than helpful so far. I've never owned a worse refridgerator and am very disappointed that Best Buy and Samsung continue to sell this.

    Worst experience ever

    I’ve had the fridge for 4 weeks and it worked properly for only the 1st week. Still no resolution after a service tech was here 3 times and has not been able to fix the issue. I have no working fridge and they won’t replace or do anything about it quickly. 3 weeks without a properly working fridge and this past week it hasn’t been functioning at all. I was told that a priority ticket has been placed and I will get a call within 24-48 business hours. That means another week without a fridge. They refused to bring me a new fridge because the ticket is with the engineering department. Seriously? DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. The microwave I bought also had missing parts. Awful.

    The only good thing I can say is "this fridge is well organized and laid out internally'". But, it is LOUD. It buzzes non-stop (and not the kind of noise that disappears into the background...you can't not hear it). And every hour or so it cycles through a very loud cyclical grinding noise. I 100% regret giving this "a chance" because now Im outside the 2-week return window. Very disappointed and will be replacing this soon. (I likely won't even try to sell it because I wouldn't feel good about doing that to someone else!)

    Piece of garbage died 1 yr and 3 days after I purchased it. The freezer will not freeze a tray of ice when set on power freeze, no ice from the ice maker, and the refrigerator compartment is hot on its highest setting. The motor or something was running loudly about a month prior, it would stop when the door was opened as then stopped after a few days. 3 days ago the noise returned and today it’s not working. Light comes on, slight humming sound but no cool air. I’m so disgusted by Samsung and their toy appliances.
