Nice picture, horrible sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As prior reviewers have stated, this TV has a nice picture, but the sound is atrocious - tinny, scratchy, like listening to an AM radio in a '56 Chevy. If you purchase this TV, plan in advance to purchase a soundbar or other external sound system, or you will be sorry indeed. Fortunately, I did read reviews before purchasing and including a soundbar with the TV was in my plans, so I'm content. The TV does have a nice picture and does what I need it to do - give me a decent view for my home office.

does what i got it for - a remote screen for iMac

It is a little disconcerting that Geek Squad said they couldn't open it up (they could only deal with software issues) and then Apple said it was to old to deal with hardware issues. Only in America.
