Good inexpensive TV

As a monitor it works quite well. As a TV it has a strange waviness at times especially when color and or tone differences are large. Sometimes it is a little strange with motion also. All in all it works but could be better but for the amount I spent I guess it's OK. I would recommend this as long as the friend is aware of the limitations.

Great upgrade

They look blurry and pixelated. My old television has better sharpness. When I adjust the sharpness you can see motion blurs when someone moves their hands or their heads on the TV. Same goes for streaming and some DVD's played on my blu-ray player. Other than that it is a great television.
