This tv is quite adequate to be watched while using the treadmill. Sound is a bit tinny but still good for the price.

The television is a great beginners television....I wish the television had my hdmI ports to connect more equipment to it...

It's a decently priced entry HD TV, good for a bedroom, but picture quality is noticable if your used to 1080p

The sound was fine, and it was a low price. But, who cares if the picture is crummy? I understand that the store probably has a high-def, top-level cable connection, the best wires, and great set-up guys..... But, any new TV should also be good for the average guy that has basic cable, basic connectors, and sets it up himself. This TV was not. I ended up returning it.

this is decent tv. no bells or whistles. just got if to be able to watch recorded shows in the bedroom.

Great gift for a college student. First personal tv that can connect easily to the dorms or apartments.

When I opened the box to assemble the stand and pulled it out of the box something rattled inside. My first impression was thus does not look anything like the 40 inch Samsung I just bought, this one looks really cheap dull plastic looking, like you'd expect to see in one of those $100 black friday t.v deals that nobody has ever heard of of the brand. I had to return it it felt like if it had screws loose. There was actually a 1/8 inch gap on the top right corner that if you squeezed to close it would squeak, close & open back up I got my money back & upgraded to a smart same size samsung t.v that was like $150 more but we'll worth it except that this "smart t.v" can't connect to my wireless network. I even tried connecting it directly with a dsl cable and it still wouldn't work so I thought I had a problem with my Internet. Well after 4 different technicians and almost a month after christmas I find myself having no choice but to return this one as well. Very Disappointed Samsung!!!

For the price this television makes a good set for bedroom use or in a relatively small living room.

Grainy On Old Movies, Shows Or Non HD Channels. For The Most Part This Tv ServeS Its Purpose.

This product was not user friendly out of the box. As I noted above, the presets were poorly programmed. When switching between television and movies, we had to constantly make adjustments - and would end up having to settle with, "Well, that's good enough." Returned this unit and purchased a Toshiba that has been a delight thus far.
