    Nice TV for Guest Room

After looking at a number of 32" 720P sets, chose this one for best picture quality. It looks great and the tuner tunes in all of the unscrambled digital cable stations; actually didn't know that I had that many. The menu is pretty intuitive and out of the box setup was fairly easy. Changed the picture mode to "movie" and after playing around with the settings, went back to the default for movie mode which looked the best for me. Only complaint is that the stand is a bit wobbly, not a good choice for a kids TV unless you have it mounted.

The best mid-sized TV bargain out there

As it says in the title, this TV is the best bargain out there for a mid-sized TV. I bought this for $299 (on sale) to replace an older TV in our bedroom and I've been nothing but impressed with its picture quality. After about 80-100 hours of break-in time, I was able to find some proper calibration settings for it. After fine-tuning all of the many picture-enhancing features, it provides very natural whites, colors and blacks. There is very little, if any, motion blur. Even being a 720p TV, the crispness of the picture is impressive with HD programming and Blu-Ray movies are stunning. All of this comes at an annual electricity consumption of only $6. It's one of the most efficient TV's out there and it is very lightweight. As for the negatives, the built-in speakers are adequate, but I wish they were a little more solid in the mid- to lower frequencies. Then again, not many small flat-screen TV speakers are great. If you are going to use this to watch movies or sports, I would highly suggest a soundbar, stereo speakers with an amplifier or a full surround-sound system. Additionally, there are only two HDMI inputs. I am using both with the HD box and the Blu-Ray. I'd like to have one more for connecting a laptop. The bottom line is that if you purchase this TV, you won't be disappointed. Search for the proper calibration settings on the internet or use a calibration disc and you'll enjoy the picture even more. If you're in the market for a TV for a bedroom, dorm room, kids room or something similar, I couldn't recommend this TV more.

I purchased this Samsung 32" LED television for my bedroom. Easy to set up and mountable. We have HDTV cable and this is the sharpest picture I have seen. I prefer Samsung's picture quality over Sony. Here is what I recommend that you do after setting it up, it's not complicated: just open the on screen menu, and go through every setting and tweak it how you like it. That's it, and anyone can do it. There are settings for EVERY thing you can think of, and I cannot imagine anyone having a reason to complain about this TV. There are sound settings even for hard of hearing people. You don't need extra speakers, unless you prefer it because the sound is just fine. This is an excellent television for a great price. Don't pay more. Just simply go through the settings (15 minutes of your time) and you will be thoroughly impressed! Even my husband, a die-hard Sony fan is considering replacing our 8 year old Sony Wega in our living room with a Samsung. Picture can't be beat. Hope this helps.

Good size, surprisingly lightweight, easy to put together Picture is excellent and I love the sound choices. As a person who has trouble hearing the speaking portion of shows and movies, there is a setting for that and I don't have to use the captions anymore.

We bought this for my dad's birthday. Much of an improvement from his last one which weighed half a ton and had a tiny screen. We planned on a smaller, cheaper TV but this one seemed a better deal. The energy star rating was a requirement for us. It's a brand we trust and are very happy with it. The picture and sound are good and we especially liked that it was so light (though thicker than expected) and easy to set up. The 2 HDMI ports make it SO easy! Two wires for the Blu Ray and the cable box were all we needed. Sales associate warned us to use the surge protector, which was cheap enough so not terrible- knowing the TV doesn't have one built in is a little scary but it's the price we pay for so little weight. Kind of wish there was one more HDMI port but that's just me being greedy.

The best 32 inch TV for this price

I bought this TV primarily for gaming for my home office so I didn't want to pay alot of money. I bought a 32 inch LED Vizio that was very sleek but after a week of fiddling with the picture settings, I just couldn't get it to my liking. So I returned it and bought this at BestBuy. I am not a big Samsung fan, but I couldn't beat the price. The screen is Matte (not shiny LED screen# I don't like most LED screens because of the reflection. I change the settings to my liking and was able to get the best picture I could get on a $299 TV. The sound is surprisingly good . One thing I don't like is...it is not paper-thin like most LED TVs. It is very light #13lbs). It almost feels hallow, so it doesn't feel solid or durable. Overall, I am pleased with this TV. For $299, Samsung, and it's an LED. You should be RUNNING to buy this TV. I challenge you to go to Best Buy and look at this TV next to all the other 32 inch TVs. You will pick this one. I hope this helped you guys and girls.

    Overall Great TV!!!

I wanted a television for my kitchen that often has other sounds such as dishwasher, fan, mixer, running water, etc.. These surrounding sounds prevented me from enjoying the television because I could barely hear my 25" RCA {poor quality sound}. I went to Best Buy and purchased the insignia tv/dvd combo; not a good choice. The picture was poor and the sound was even worse. I returned it the next day and bought this samsung and I am extremely happy. It suited all my needs including awesome picture, great sound and sound quality and can be adjusted for optimum sound and picture. This has all the bells and whistles for a tv in its class. Now I can see and hear the televsion!!! Yeah!!! On a serious note, this is the best value for your money. I don't buy televisions often so I tend to spend a few extra dollars for quality {picture & sound}. People this is the bang for your buck!!! Note: The best buy rep said that 720p was great for this 32" led and there was no benefit in purchasing a 32" 1080p. He said you can appreciate the 1080p in larger led televsions; He was absolutely right!! I know because I have larger led samsungs and the picture quality on this 32" model is crystal clear as with my other models. Hope this helps.

The TV was easy to set up and the menu is easy to understand. I bought this TV as a replacement TV for my bedroom not really thinking to much about HD picture quality. I was amazed that a TV that cost so little could have such a great picture. I took my old HD-DVD player (which is obsolete now) and hooked it up and couldn't believe it, it looks as good if not better than my Toshiba that i paid over $1,600 for. All in all a great TV for this price

You can never go wrong with Samsung TVs. Bought for my dad (Christmas gift) & he loves it. Sharp images! He uses it in the bedroom. He doesn't have cable but it apparently picked up a lot of channels. He was so ecstatic! The size is perfect for bedrooms. We only have Samsung TVs in our homes. We love them & will buy them again.

Fantastic TV for first-time flat screen owner

When I decided to make the upgrade from tube televisions to flat screens, I initially purchased an LG and was very disappointed with the results, especially when the picture started going dark on the very first day. I brought it back and purchased this Samsung television and have loved the results over the past few months. The picture quality alone is superb, I'm particularly impressed how beautiful blu-ray discs look on the display, as a film enthusiast, I couldn't be happier. It is also very easy to set up and navigate the settings until it meets your personal preferences. I would recommend however that you purchase an HDMI cable instead of using standard red/white/yellow ones, as the latter caused ghosting in movement. With an HDMI cable, the results are immaculate, it doesn't even need to be an expensive one, the Dynex brand works perfectly. Overall, this is an excellent, not to mention reasonably priced television and I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my sister who has a small living room and only one external device to connect to the TV. Very, very good 32" LED picture and surprisingly strong audio for only having 5W/channel and downward firing speakers, this TV is priced right and built to deliver a good picture and sound. What it lacks is features - and inputs. If you need both a "composite" and a "component" input, or if you have more than 2 HDMI capable devices, keep looking. But if your connectivity needs are limited, this is a great option. No WiFi, either for updates or streaming video - hence the lower price. But it rated better, both with owners and with CU, than many sets that have the WiFi. In the end, if you don't need that, it does at least have a USB connection and good firmware for viewing pics and vids off a flash drive or USB adapted camera card. Easy setup and we needed the tuner in our situation - it quickly and accurately found all the "air" channels and locked them in well.

SAMSUNG HDTV: GOOD SOUND & REALISTIC PICTURE

    Posted .

Admittedly, my choice when I originally wanted to purchase my own color television, as well as many other video or audio products, had been consistently to purchase "Sony", and that manufacturer continues to be superb. Regardless, when I chose my initial HDTV, my decision depended upon either a "Sony" or a "Samsung" model, which would meet my basic requirements. I myself had been somewhat surprised that my initial HDTV choice had been ultimately between a 32" 60hz or 39" 60hz model manufactured by "Samsung". The first HDTV that I ordered at Best Buy, and, therefore, my initially owned HDTV, had been a 39" model by "Samsung". Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with, both, the overall realistic and vivid coloring and audio performance. I, soon after, had ordered the 32" model that I had been considering, and same became a gift for my elderly mom. I could elaborate on details of both "Samsung" models, though briefly I will express my very high level of satisfaction with both, and "Samsung" does certainly know how to manufacture a superior HDTV, as well as numerous other devices. I, again, continue to purchase and use various models by both companies and, I'm not comparing one to the other as far as quality, but rather it is really meant as a compliment to both that I regard either to be of superior caliber to many other makes of such products. When I was a child, my father's choice of the make and model of old-fashioned color or black and white television sets to purchase didn't matter in the least. Although, he regarded himself as quite an expert on such devices, our household would generally own whichever he'd buy for whatever reasons. Interestingly, in a way, my dad's first personal 15" screen black and white TV was a "Samsung", a manufacturer just introduced at the time to the market, and I recall it as heavy and bulky, yet rather durable with excellent sound for its size. In any event, the choice in my original personal 20" color TV, over other makes on the market, was definitely a "Sony", and that would still be and still is my choice for a whole range of products and devices. Nonetheless, I am open-minded with regard to what I know to be the best makes and models available. All in all, to reiterate, I could not be more satisfied with my Best Buy purchase of said "Samsung" 39" HDTV, and I am also very pleased with my purchase of this "Samsung" 32" HDTV. Unless your own decision is insistent on more than 60hz, or perhaps on a Smart HDTV model, I do strongly recommend this "Samsung" model, should it otherwise meet your size requirements and other needs.

In my opinion, Samsung makes the best TV's out there. Rarely does anything bad happen to them, and the quality of picture and sound is far beyond a cheaper TV. I've owned 2 Samsung TV's and both are still kicking 5 years later. I highly recommend any Samsung TV; model does not matter.
