Not good for basic cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV to replace my older 22" Samsung LED TV in my bedroom. When I set the TV up and hooked it up to the basic cable in my room I was disappointed in the picture quality. There was a lot of "noise" in the picture that I didn't experience with other Samsung HD TV. After playing around with the picture settings and turning on the noise filter the picture continued to look bad and out of focus. I ended up calling Samsung and the operator basically told me that it was the cable and not the TV. I wasn't expecting the picture quality to look like it did in the store but I've definitely seen better non-HD picture quality from other televisions. I ended up exchanging it for a LG 32LN530B and I love it. HD looks just as good and non-HD is much sharper and focused compared to the Samsung.
