gerat tv for my kids room she loves it to watch n play games

I Came home from working 2nd shift and heard talking in the house, at first thought someone had broken into the house. I currently have 3 TV's in the house. My Samsung is upstairs in a room I don't use much in the winter months. Was shocked to walk upstairs and discover the tv running. If I had accidently left it on, I'm sure I would have heard it late at night from my bedroom directly below. Either the tv turned itself on, or someone with a Samsung remote flew by in a helicopter and turned it on. When I checked the internet for this problem, I'm not alone. Samsung makes an incredible picture, but this problem is unacceptable. The link on You tube is not me!

I don't know whether to get used to it or return it. The picture is not very sharp. I wanted to replace my smaller TV, but I'm thinking I have to hook the old one back up. I fiddled with the picture settings and nothing seems to improve. Kind of disappointed.

I was surprised that a Samsung TV did not have a sharper picture. Picture was just average.

My hdmi doesn't work bought it around Christmas hooked up Verizon fios I get a picture no sound hook a pc or Xbox no picture or sound . Only 2 hdmi ports no pc input and it has a/v and component that works. What is wrong with the HDMI?

Not a smart tv so its ok. Next time I will choose one that has more features

PLEASE DON’T BUY A Samsung TV! I will tell you why. Samsung doesn’t stand behind its products! I was recently very disappointed with Samsung’s handling (or NOT HANDLING) of a serious problem I experienced with my 61-in. TV. My TV was experiencing white dots covering the screen, but my warranty had recently expired. Just by chance, I decided to call Samsung to see if there was a recall on the set or something. It turned out that there indeed was a recall for the white dot issue. The problem was so widespread that the issue even had a name – it is called the “White Dot Problem”. You can even Google it. The Samsung rep even knew which specific electronic part caused the problem, the DMD chip. He knew this fact because apparently it is a common problem for Samsung TV sets. So yes, they had a recall on the problem sets, but guess what: They didn’t include my 61-inch in the recall!!! It is the SAME CHIP that is causing the SAME PROBLEM. How rediculous is that! It makes sense that if you have discovered a weak part in your production process, you should take full responsibility for it – not partial responsibility by fixing only certain sizes of the TVs. I repeat: It is the same chip that is causing the same problem as the covered sets. They forced me to junk my massive TV instead of them replacing one little part the size of a credit card. They wanted to charge me hundreds to fix it. Don’t purchase Samsung. They don’t stand behind their products!

I would suggest potential buyers consider comparable Panasonic models because my Samsung TV’s tuner went on the fritz after only 20 months (out of warranty, of course), while my Panasonic (same size) is still problem-free after five years. Plus, Panasonic TVs handle standard definition (non-HD) channels much better than Samsungs do, which have an incredible amount of motion-blur: whenever something moves, that object gets fuzzy. Should have listened to my friend and returned this TV.

Was so excited to get a new TV for my bedroom! But disappointed on how dark the picture is

TV is good for a bedroom/children tv. Nothing great about it but nothing really wrong. Bought it for the price, $189.

good outside overlook, the screen resolution is normal and the sound stereo is normal, too.

It is a good bedroom tv. easy to wall mount, has a sleep timer, all i need in the bedroom

Good brand to have Samsung,I prefer this brand over other unknown brands

Actually, we returned this tv after bring it home and setting it up. We felt the picture quality wasn't as good as the one we were thinking of replacing. It also did not have all the connections we needed. We felt it may have been made with fewer extras to sell for a lower price during the holidays.

I will think long and hard before buying another Samsung TV. My OLD tv has better picture quality than this one does. Unfortunately, right after we bought it we had to go out of town unexpectedly for an extended period of time and lost our window of opportunity to return it. Not a good investment!
