Samsung Smart tv is too glitchy...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the tv, good picture, good tv if you hook it up to a game system or don't use the smart tv. However, the second time I tried going to Netflix, it started flashing this message, "Preparing the Tv...please try again later." Annoying. I did some reading online, and found that I can get rid of the message by disconnecting the network and reconnecting again. Do I really want to mess with this every time I want to use the Smart tv? No... soooooo I'm going in today to get an LG instead. Samsung needs to fix whatever that is...

Sound is horrible

The picture is fine but the sound is just horrible. I'm not sure if it's due to poor speakers or what but it's so cheap sounding that I'm considering just putting my old tube set back into use.

lasted 3 years, 9 months before trouble

BUT after 3 years, 9 months, the tv would shut off and back on within a few seconds...all by itself! Customer service in a foreign country put me on hold when I asked for an American rep. I finally hung up. Second call to customer service connected to south Carolina. Great! Was told it was up to me to pay for repair service. I think it has a defective part, possibly the fan, that overheats. I will not pay for repair service. I will buy a new tv...but not a Samsung!
