1. Without question, a gorgeous picture. 2. Thin, lightweight, easy to mount. 3. Samsung (like so many) still has a very clunky set up process. 4. Speakers are horrible. Sound is tinny and at higher volumes, which you need, the plastic housing makes audible vibrations. It has an "amplify" setting but it almost makes it worse. BTW I installed in a small room where I did not want to add an AVR, speakers, etc. 5. Recommend for picture, but you may want a sound bar or speaker configuration.

I wanted a 32" monitor for my computer, This would cost me about $800 for a decent monitor. Usually TVs aren't as good as PC monitors because of the input lag issue that TVs have. I went to best buy and was watching bunch of 32" TVs on the display rack, all TVs were playing the same video. I noticed that the picture on this TV was playing a little bit ahead of all other TVs. That's how I thought that may be the input lag in this TV is too small, so I decided to give it a shot. I bought it, went home and couldn't wait to hook it up on my computer. I can tell you that the input lag on this thing is almost zero, It is the best TV as a PC monitor that I have ever used.

I got the TV looking at the picture. When I got it the stand was different, here (everywhere on internet) Samsung shows one central stand but in reality it has 2 stands on either ends.

I recently purchased this TV for a guest bedroom. The picture quality is Very Good! I am super pleased with this TV, so much that I go into the guest bedroom just to watch a movie on VUDU or a tv show on the DVR. I have read some comments regarding the sound quality. At first I did not notice it, until today when I was watching a movie that I have seen a few times, at first I was ticked off, and then I went to the settings and tweaked the speaker control on the remote, and it fixed the issue. I cannot be more pleased. This is a great TV, I hope you enjoy yours.

I bought during black Friday 2017 and was able to get a good price which was only about $40 more than the basic 720p non-smart model. At that price it was a no brainer to get the 1080p smart model. While the price was good, the TV is not perfect. The backlight isn't even and the corners are slightly darker than the rest of the screen. The TV also randomly goes black for about a second while were are watching something. The display comes right back on, but it is rather annoying. I've read this is a common issue with Samsung models. I have ordered a couple of new HDMI cords to ensure it isn't a cord, but after that I will have to call Samsung to repair it. I understand they will come out to your residence and fix it in place (new power supply and a control board), so it isn't the end of the world. However, it would be nice if these issues where not present on a brand new TV.

My mom's Vizo took a dump, so i needed to buy her a replacement, i decided to go with a Samsung. I saw the reviews and i was hesitant to buy because reviewers complained about the volume. I messed around with it and it blew me away, it has some good speakers, better than my 42" Samsung . Love the color on it, i plan on upgrading my tv real soon.

The video quality is outstanding, the colors are vivid, make sure if you connect a game console the sharpness is down otherwise it looks grainy

This is a very nice tv however one of my favorite Samsung features is not working on this tv. Smart View! When I try to connect to this tv from my tablet it shows a totally different tv than what I have and doesn't connect anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

Best Buy has come through again. Weather I'm shopping in store , online, or even on ebay . Best Buy always has the products I want/need at the prices i can afford. Thanks for being the BEST BUY !!! Jean

Unit arrived with the screen smashed. Will have to return/exchange. Probably the carrier's fault (UPS) and not BB. BB has been quite helpful in the issue.

The Samsung M5300 TV looks great. I got it setup with my wifi, and everything worked great...Until one day a week later it wouldn't turn on. I would press the power button and the light would flash but it never would come on. I kept trying and trying and Finally the TV came on, and everything worked fine. Then another day Same problem. Then one night 1 1/2 weeks after I bought it the TV would not turn off. I tried a second TV and it did the same thing. This TV has a built in flaw. Not sure if the contollers are bad, or the TV has a bad board. I WOULD NOT buy this TV again. I took it back the second time and bought a different brand that has been great. Samsung needs to address this issue. The store gets them back, turns them on and off and are probably selling them as Open Box. DO NOT BUY IT!

The speakers are horrible...lots of vibration and distortion when raised in the 20s range (range is 0-100).

Gave this TV to my 13 year old for a Christmas present. After unboxing and going thru the setup, the TV shut off. Tried everything possible but it would not come back on. Decided to unplug and see if it would reset and noticed that the power supply was hot to the touch. So we left it unplugged for a couple of hours then plugged it back in. It worked for appx. 10 mins. and shut off again. I took a voltmeter and checked the output of the power supply and had 0 volts. Called customer service and after a long discussion I was told they would ship another power supply to us within 2 days. After not receiving it for a week called back and was told the first customer service was incorrect in his remedy. So we had to go through the whole story again and we were told it would be 2 weeks before we would have a replacement power supply. In short we've had this TV since Christmas (its Jan. 10 now) and still can't use it.

The poorest sound of any TV I have ever owned. The picture is no better than the Initial Brand TV that it is replacing which cost one half the price. The three days I have played this thing, I have not found a way to adjust the treble and bass sounds. I purchased this TV for my office area and will not likely be using all of the advertised features. I should have purchased Insignia,TLC or LG. I am considering looking into returning this turkey to Best Buy as it is poor quality for the price.

Periodically loses sound. Speakers are fuzzy, big nuisance, The Samsung remote cannot be programmed to change channels through a cable set top box, headache.

Samsung Model: UN32M5300AFXZA ORDER #BBY01-805515708080 I'm happy with most everything except the picture quality. After having the tv for about 30 days (too late to return it), the picture became so dark that it's nearly impossible to see an image on the screen. It's almost totally black. I have gone to the "EXPERT PICTURE SETTINGS" and adjusted the "Backlight", "Brightness" and"Contrast" settings to no avail. I feel like I just wasted $230 dollars.

I purchased this TV two weeks ago to fit in a space that originally had a 37" Viewsonic TV that finally stopped powering on after 11 years. Since the TV cabinet was sized for the old TV, only 32 inch TVs would fit, and I picked this one because it had 1080p resolution. The resolution is fine, the operating system is aweful. Whenever I turn on the TV it goes to low resolution advertisements for something called TVplus which I cannot delete. In the apps bar, before I can select one of the streaming apps we use, I have to scroll past a mandatory promoted app. I will never purchase a Samsung TV again, and based on this experience, I've been warned off Samsung phones also. I'm glad I only made the mistake on this cheap TV, and not a more expensive larger model.

The sound goes in and out when I rewind and play again. It was sent out for repairs but I'm still having this problem. They refused to send it out for repairs again because they can't determine what's causing it. I asked for a refund of the warranty. Why buy a warranty if I can't use it. Ridiculous.

I bought this tv to replace a 8 year old Sharp because it was time. This TV is awful on over the air reception. I’m reinstalling my p lot Tv and giving this away. Samsung/Best Buy never again
