As a Samsung cell phone & tablet owner, thought this transition to a smart t.v. would be fairly easy & since love my other devices, expected the picture to be great. Spent 2 days on the phone with Comcast trying to fix the awful color and horizontal lines that made the picture look like watching a video tape! Then they sent a tech out, who checked exterior cables, had me text pictures & suggested looked to him like tv was defective. I wasted hours on calls, and trying to adjust the color -- which aside from sharpness & lines, was so awful it was visually distracting. Also, just an fyi, screwing in the feet -- not easy, screws tiny & felt very cheap. Best Buy was wonderful about taking back the unit & bought an LG replacement. I was strongly recommended to try the next Samsung level up, a 1080 that is approx. $60 more than this M4500 series unit... Even if just a defective unit, the color and sound were both so terrible (had not planned on buying a sound bar, but speakers in the back delivered such muffled audio that had to repeatedly rewind shows to try and understand simple dialogue), did not even consider trying to obtain a replacement unit. Spending $60 more is a big deal, but when I think how many hours of time & aggravation wasted on this Samsung purchase, probably would pay $100 more!

A good, basic smart TV that has apps installed - no need for the full google TV experience.

This TV is so neat. The remote already has Apps on it and all you have to do is push the button. It’s great!

We bought this on a whim and couldn't be happier we went with this model instead of all the several other similar models.

The tv works great especially for the price. However if wanted to set up the tv via an app. That was long and confusing. You can also set up with the remote. I recommend that option for sure!

You get what you pay for! I was replacing an elderly Samsung tv in the bedroom, and thinking surely the technology of even a low-cost tv would be enough that the picture would be better. Wrong! It was worse--colors fading in and out, really poor picture experience. I took it back for a 43 inch QLED and just paid the money. So glad I did.

This TV is pretty good. We have upgraded to a larger size since purchasing it. Wished we had gotten one with 4K technology initially.

my particular unit has deficiency in sound. The sound seems coming out of a barrel or a drum. The local manager is going to replace my unit with another one as soon as it becomes available.

Easily setup with Samsung app. Bought for my reloading room to watch sports while reloading ammunition. Picture not as clear as the higher end TVs but you get what you pay for.

Haven’t opened up the box yet, but I’m assuming it’s straight that’s all the brands I have except my Mitsubishi tv.
