    The first unit would not set up, simply coming on and then within 5 seconds turning its self off. I returned to Best Buy for a second unit. After some problems cutting off I was able to set up. After two days it would not turn on. I returned for my money!

    My sensor is not working, so I have to unplug the tv and plug it back in for it to work properly with the remote control.

    Samsung TV has a problem with lost connection

    Everytime I turn this Samsung TV on nothing happens!! I have to unplug it, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Then I see a message that the internet connection is starting up. I should have researched better, but trusted Samsung as our other electronics are Samsung. I read dozens of complaints online about the same thing happening. When they contacted Samsung customer service they blamed the internet provider...NOT THE PROBLEM!!! It's a Samsung software problem. I'm not very happy!!!

    We originally purchased a Vizio Full HD 1080 TV for our breakfast room, but were disappointed with the quality of the picture on the Vizio. It looked rather washed out regardless of what settings we tried, particularly when viewing from a slight angle. So, we took another look at the Samsung 32-in 5300 series . At the store, we noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of the picture between the 720 (4500 series) and the 1080 (5300 series) Samsung when viewing from an angle, so we opted to go with the 1080 version. At home, we had a chance to do a head-to-head comparison of the Vizio and the Samsung (both were full HD 1080), and the Samsung picture was so much better! We ended up returning the Vizio and keeping the Samsung. We have been very pleased with the quality of the picture and the features, plus the viewing angle range of the Samsung is superior to the Vizio. Setup was extremely easy. So far we haven't had any of the issues noted by other users with the Wi-Fi dropping (even though we don't rely on that for streaming - ours is hooked to a cable box.) Nor have we had any problems with the TV randomly shutting off. The only minor complaint is the stand. It was awkward to install and you have to screw it down very tightly or else it wobbles. The picture appears a tad dull in dark rooms, but we generally view this TV in a well-lit room. There is a setting to automatically adjust for different lightings. Speakers are fine, but we do have ours hooked to a sound bar for better projection since our TV is located in a lower cabinet. I would purchase this TV again.

    What a bad Samsung experience. TV would not turn on and even at some point would not tun off. Had to unplug it and let is set for a while then it was good for a few days and then same thing over again. It appears this happen with this TV per other reviews. Had several contacts with Samsung even had to take it to Cedar Rapids IA to get it fixed even made it worse. Finally climbed the Samsung cooperate ladder high enough got them to give us a in store best buy credit but it was extremely painful!!!

    I have yet to be able to go into the room with this TV, after nearly 2 months, due to the "extreme" chemical smell. Looking online I now see this is a common issue. I would have returned the TV if it were not for your restock fee. I kept hoping the problem would get better. So far it is still bad.

    My old credit card didn't work because not used recently, had to destroy it. Used bank card instead, not a problem, but stressful. Had to schedule three times before someone actually came to install tv. Was told two diffirent times of installation. No one called to cancel as we waited by the phone both days. Third time was a charm. Beautiful installation, both guys were well knowledable.

    I actually bought 2 of these TVs and had the same problem with both of them. The set wouldn't turn on unless you unplugged it from the power and plugged it back in. Samsung said they never heard of this problem.

    I bought this tv and had it delivered to my home because they did not have any in stock at the store. It was delivered overnight and I was happy. However, I was not even able to set it properly because there was a black screen with gray lines going up and down on the screen. It was obv damaged in Transport. I will be returning it tomorrow and finding another tv. This time I will pick it up.

    This TV was purchased as an open box item. After a few days of use it has had several black screen issues requiring a reset of the unit to be able to turn it on.
