Ask for date of TV before buying!!

I found out when I called Samsung about a problem I had with color. Best Buy said I could return it. However my husband and I were ill and had no way of returning it. We feel that you should have personally brought us a replacement for tv.

Amazing colors

No Headphone Jack

This TV had no headphone jack, but was told the optical/digital output connector could be used to attach headphones. Well, first I needed a PCM-to-analogue converter. I got one and got sound through headphones. But there is no way to control the volume without buying some sort of an amplifier. This is a deal-killer. Otherwise, a good TV. Basically for the lack of a $5 headphone jack, I returned a $250 TV. I bought a Westinghouse 32" smart TV which has a headphone jack.

Better than average picture, poor sound

Good if you plan on getting a soundbar or connect to a speaker system.

Broke 10 days after I bought it!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV on the 6th of Dec 2019 so its been only 10 days since I purchased it. I was playing Play-station and the colors went dark and starting to fade, few seconds later, it goes black screen. I turned the TV on/off and still black screen, I could hear the game through my headset so I know its a problem with the TV. I unplugged my HDMI from the TV that is connected to the play station to test the TV independently without it being plugged to anything. So I turn the TV on/off few times and still no picture. I could hear the sound in the TV too but no picture. So I went to sleep to see if it over heated or something, woke up the next day and still getting this issue, just black screen. I have like only 10 hours on this TV and already ran through this problem which bothers me because I have to wait another 5 days since it seems like no body carries this TV in store. I will go return it and order new one from Best Buy (Where I purchased it). Once I get the new one and use it for few weeks, I will update this review but for now, very disappointed that I only got like 10 hours on the TV and already black screen

Had it for only one week and it's not turning on.

Hit the power button and the red light flashes but the TV does not turn on. I just read some reviews of others who are having the same problem so it's doesn't appear to be an isolated issue with this TV. Bummed out as I'm a big fan of Samsung TV's. I have no option other than returning it, and I'm not risking buying this particular model again.

NO WI-Fi on not-so-SMART-HUB

Samsung Model UN32J5500: after two months I can no longer connect to my wireless network. I have 13 devices in the house that CAN connect to any of my 3 networks, but not my Samsung. Search the internet and you will read PLENTY of users with the exact same issue. The TV sits next to me at my home office, and my computer and phone are both on wifi but not my Samsung. As far as brands, choose any other. I Purchased : July 20, 2018 at Best Buy

No analog audio out

At the store, I saw the red and white audio connectors at the store and assumed they were output. They were not clearly labeled and are there for AV input. Of course sales personnel were scarce at the store. The alternative 32" 1080p sets were Vizio and TCL with lower prices and more features.

Broke in 4 years

Poor Sound and Cannot Hold a WiFi Connection

I often operate my iPad near it so that when the signal fades from the TV, I can continue watching. It never recalls what was playing, often requires signing in when the signal fails, and is a totally unreliable TV. And, the sound from my iPad is better and easier to listen to than this TV. This TV is junk.
