    Had it for only one week and it's not turning on.

    Bought this TV only a week ago and I’ve already had to unplug and plug back in to get it to turn on. Hit the power button and the red light flashes but the TV does not turn on. I just read some reviews of others who are having the same problem so it's doesn't appear to be an isolated issue with this TV. Bummed out as I'm a big fan of Samsung TV's. I have no option other than returning it, and I'm not risking buying this particular model again.

    Picture mode switches by itself. Sound is tinny. It an okay tv for my use but I only purchase Samsung and this is a little disappointing!

    This tv does not have Hulu app and you cannot download it. You'd need Roku or a Firestick.

    NO WI-Fi on not-so-SMART-HUB

    SAM-SUNG has sung his last tune for me! Samsung Model UN32J5500: after two months I can no longer connect to my wireless network. I have 13 devices in the house that CAN connect to any of my 3 networks, but not my Samsung. Search the internet and you will read PLENTY of users with the exact same issue. The TV sits next to me at my home office, and my computer and phone are both on wifi but not my Samsung. As far as brands, choose any other. I Purchased : July 20, 2018 at Best Buy

    Broke in 4 years

    Currently have 5 samsung tv’s, this has been the worst in therms of life span. 4 years of basic use, today the sceen is now black/dim, its got power and sound but screen brigtness is gone.

    No analog audio out

    I didn't realize there were no RCA or earphone out connectors until I had taken the time to install the set. At the store, I saw the red and white audio connectors at the store and assumed they were output. They were not clearly labeled and are there for AV input. Of course sales personnel were scarce at the store. The alternative 32" 1080p sets were Vizio and TCL with lower prices and more features.

    I bought a smart tv so I could access the service I pay for. This thing will not stop bombarding me with their live tv from samsung tv plus. Its so loud. It just won't stop. The menus are unresponsive. the apps are terrible. This thing is just all around terrible.

    Poor Sound and Cannot Hold a WiFi Connection

    This is the only television in my house that cannot hold a wifi signal. I often operate my iPad near it so that when the signal fades from the TV, I can continue watching. It never recalls what was playing, often requires signing in when the signal fails, and is a totally unreliable TV. And, the sound from my iPad is better and easier to listen to than this TV. This TV is junk.

    TV is not user friendly for the hearing impaired

    Just bought this TV and am now returning it. After setting up the TV, I learned that it will not stream the audio signal to both the speakers and the digital audio output the sametime time. You get to select one or the other, but not both. Since I am hearing impaired, I often listen to the TV with wireless headphones. However my wife is not hearing impaired, so the TV speakers work fine for her. As a result, the two of us cannot enjoy quality audio at the sametime I less I want to purchase an external audio system. Struggling to believe that the TV lacked this capability, I chatted with Samsung technical support. They confirmed that my understanding of how the audio operates was correct. I also learned that many other Samsung TV's lack this capability. I cannot understand how Samsung missed such a simple audio feature that has been present on all other TV's.

    Good picture, poor customer service and manual

    Tried 60 days to register tv on Samsung's website. Their reps no help, keep saying try again in 7-10 days. Operating manual not accurate, had to rely on trial and error. Paying store technician almost essential. Remote too small, no night light.

    Bad Operating System

    I bought this TV and have been using it for a month. The operating system seems to be going haywire. So much so I can’t even open up my settings menu to do a reset on the TV. It started out just force closing my Netflix app. So I thought maybe it was just the Netflix app itself, but then it started to randomly bug out to the Home Screen while I was using my console on an HDMI input. Now if I turn the TV on, the home menu doesn’t pop up and I’m not able to use the settings tab. After a month the TV is inoperable.

    Open-box 32" Samsung TV, indicated as Excellent and Geek Squad inspected. Parts missing and screen damaged, only 1/2 showing, other half large black and white splotches (like a Dalmation dog), with various colored vertical lines. BEST BUY, inspect your open box items, not just slap an OK on them and lead people on.

    power light kept on blinking bright red constantly. Samsung support determined unit had to be returned to authorized repair center. I was contacted they received unit damaged and they voided the warranty. Discovered other consumers reporting same power light issues which would have prevented me from purchasing this tv had I been aware of this. waste of money.
