I purchased it so we could use the Spectrum app, not available on the Toshiba. Many of my shows have dark scenes in them. Literally, not much light. The Expanse is one example. Many of the darker scenes were almost invisible, a uniform black. It certainly didn't have the wherewithal to display as well as the Toshiba. And yes, I did try all the settings. Even increased to brightness to 11.

It was a breeze to set up with Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and YouTube. The picture is sharp, the whole unit including stand is attractive, and the remote works especially comfortably and has a built in room light sensitive "solar" charging panel plus a USB port for a quick charge if needed.

Only complaint is when using a wall mount there are no screws with the TV. I had to make a couple of trips to the hardware store before zi could find four that could be used with this Television. Only cost $4 but a real aggravation. Given the price of the TV, they should include mounting screws.
