Sound control was different from prior TV that we had. To get similar volume we have to set this one to a higher number. Having done that, the sound is just fine.

TV works intermittently

But have had it for a few weeks now and during use, everything is fine; after I turn it off and leave it for a while, and come back to it the next day, the back light turns on, I get audio, but the screen is black. It isn't an HDMI cable, tested that. Happens with devices plugged into it and without, tested that. Happens with stock power cable and without, tested that. I have to hold the power button on the remote sometimes for over a full minute to get the display to come on (remote is charged), and even does the same thing when powered on without the remote. When I do, the backlight will come on, then power off, then come back on and it does this until the "QLED" text appears on the screen, at which point I know it will come on the next time I power it up. Or it will just come on by itself. Again, when it does work, it looks great (using as a gaming monitor for my Xbox Series X on a VESA mount).

Incredible TV/Monitor

The clarity of the picture is nothing short of outstanding! As a bonus, I'm also using this as a monitor for my PC and, again, the picture is so sharp it's like being there. Smart Remote

My only disappointment was the smart remote control. The remote does not use batteries. You can charge it by solar cell or usb. Mom, not interested in www, would have been happier with a old style remote. Fortunately her cable companies remote can control the tv.
