I felt the need to buy myself a “nice” tv for bedroom (replacing an older Roku, which I miss!). I had a terrible time canceling my Samsung phone insurance when I changed my phone number. Took months to get that fixed. Then I bought this and spent another hour on the phone with Samsung because they couldn’t verify my Samsung account (over the same stupid phone issue) Do not toluene on account verification with Samsung! The UI for this TV looks and acts like something from at least 10 years ago. It’s a nightmare to navigate. My favorite app no longer works on it so I can’t watch my favorite content in my bedroom (Gaia). Just trying to find the sleep timer or navigate to the app menu takes a ridiculous amount of effort. Also, if you don’t like Fox News you will hate this TV. Comes preset to auto turn on Fox Live.

It’s been years since I purchased a new one so I was very impressed by how much video and audio improvements there were. The set was very easy to set up and the interface with cable and streaming sources is easy to learn

Bad sound issue

I am hard of hearing and my previous Toshiba's sound was set at 66 to hear it. On this TV it's up to 100 and not as loud as the Toshiba's 66 setting!! This is the second same Samsung l bought with the same sound problem. I am a disabled 72-year old widow, and in working with the technician over the phone regarding the sound issue, l tipped it over and broke the screen. I got no help from Samsung and had to buy another one. That was hard, on my fixed income. I had hopes this second one would have better sound, but it does not.

Great for a small apartment or dorm room. The sounds isn't anything to write home about but will be fine for a small environment. Be careful when taking it out of the box and setting it up. The plastic around the frame is a bit flimsy and can crack. A hard to beat small 4K monitor for a competitive price.

Samsung apps are awful but TV is good.

The only way I can see to stop autoplay is to disable the app. Also on the home screen it includes and advertisement for other apps that I have no interest in. I did not spend hundreds of dollars to get app advertisements and watch shows I have no interest in watching. Otherwise the picture looks great.

Thank you for purchasing the Q60A TV and for your review. Please know that you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features
1) When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on.
2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. Please know that the Last App Used function may not work with all apps.
