Great smart monitor works great as a tv for breaks and lunchs

Just bought on sale for $479 and it’s a magnificent beast!!!

There is a bit of a lag when I try dragging things as I mirror work from my laptop. But nonetheless, this was a great monitor and the display was awesome. Only downfall was the lag time with the dragging and scrolling

It is worth the price, good for work, also good for gaming.

Beautiful Samsung color. Works perfectly with my Mac Desktop. Was considering the Apple monitor, but double the price of the Samsung. Use it for streaming movies/videos. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Large enough to open two documents side by side. I have to make reports and being able to see the information on one screen is awesome. Thought about using two screens, but it’s not necessary with Monroe.

Absolutely beautiful monitor!!! I hooked it up to my pc and now im so excited to have something I can do my everyday work on and have entertainment! The volume and sound is amazing as well!!!!

When I picked up this monitor I was so excited to test out all of its neat features. But the more I started to use it with my laptop connected to it. That's when I started to notice that the overall product is terrible and the customer service within Samsung is horrible. At first, it started off when the monitor would switch between my laptop for the display to the Samsung smartTV program it had and would stay on that screen for over an hour. And then the monitor started to just go black after being in use for roughly 30 minutes and would have to be unplugged and replugged in. Until it completely shut down and is not turning back on. I thought I have done something to the monitor for a second, but I take care of my setup. So I just believe that I had gotten a faulty monitor. Now don't get me started on customer service at Samsung. I have been trying to schedule a service repair and get some use out of the warranty that the monitor has to give a second try, but the website and the people had me running in a circle and on a wild goose chase. I have never been so disappointed with a product or a company so badly before. Trust me if I could still return this monitor I would but but alas I was a day too late for my return date.

Samsung S32BM80 Smart Monitor This is my 2nd 32” Samsung Smart Monitor. I really love the 1st one and use it daily as a smart TV and as a 2nd PC monitor. This new monitor promises even more functionality because it comes with a Samsung Slim Fit Camera. It’s basically a small webcam that plugs into the back of the monitor and rests right on the top center of the monitor. The resolution is good. When using it, it has subject tracking and will zoom in and center on the subject. When the subject moves, the camera adjusts. It’s very nice from that standpoint. The monitor comes preloaded with Duo so you can try it right out of the box without hooking up anything else. It also includes Samsung Health that allows you to watch yourself as you watch workout videos. It includes all of the standard Samsung apps for their Smart TVs such as Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Showtime, Apple+ and many more. There are dozens of additional programs that can be added through the menus. It supports Samsung DEX for integration with your Samsung Smartphone or Tablet and allows you to connect your PC directly or via screen mirroring or casting. It’s full 4K and has internal speakers and can connect to Bluetooth speakers as well. It uses a Mini HDMI cable (included) and has 2 USB-C ports one of them able to charge at up to 65 watts. The monitor attaches to a stand that allows the display to tilt forwards and backwards as well as move up and down. The monitor can be adjusted to rest between 1” and 6” above your desk. It's almost the perfect monitor. I only have 1 complaint. It involves using it as a monitor directly connected to your PC. It’s the camera. While the Smart TV aspects of the unit are able to utilize the camera, your PC cannot. You connect your PC to the monitor via a Micro HDMI cable, which doesn’t have support for a camera attached to the monitor. The PC doesn’t know that the camera exists. You can also connect the monitor to your PC via USB-C, but the camera still does not appear in device manager. Support explains that the camera can only be used by apps local to the monitor. That’s a big drawback for me, but not a deal killer. Overall, I love the monitor, and it will be my new primary monitor from now on. I just wish they had integrated the camera better.

Great value. Monitor and TV all-in-one. Just what I needed for my workstation. I need a monitor, obviously, for my MacBook but also need a TV for testing our companies streaming app. With not a lot of room for multiple monitors and TV this checks all the boxes. The camera is a bit glitchy when on Zoom calls. Haven't been able to figure it out. But it's no big deal as I can still you my MacBook camera. The monitor is best for an office or bedroom set up. I wouldn't use this a main TV.

There sides of the screen look darker than the rest of the screen. Im used to the studio display, but you get what you pay for.

I don't like having to have the remote for powering it on and off. The power button is in the back middle of the screen. There ARE NO HDMI ports. Wish I would have noticed that before, I would not have purchased this. I purchased this for an office computer. Might be nice for more of a home setting. Screen is nice size and has good color.

It’s all right for my use on my security system, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a regular computer use

Have had this monitor a few months and decided to finally review it. I am quite satisfied with the screen quality. The sound and Slim Fit cam can be a bit buggy at times. Although it is capable of being wireless. I much prefer it wired. The remote is so light and I actually enjoy the TV functions. Bought two of the previous model for bedrooms that I and my child work from to double as TV's. Overall for the price I give it a thumbs up. Also note the web browser function was not very impressive.

The Samsung M8 monitor has been a great alternative to buying a separate TV for my bedroom. Now I'm able to use this monitor for both productivity and entertainment on my desk. The remote is a great addition and helps leaps and bounds with not having to use the monitor buttons to change display settings and also acts as a TV remote when using the monitor for watching TV. The built-in Alexa assistant is also handy. Overall a great buy for people looking for a monitor primarily for media consumption.

A total dissapointment, dont buy it, had to return it, its more of a tv set than a pc monitor. Cannot connect using cables
