I first experienced samsungs QD-OLED technology with an alienware 34inch monitor. Then I found an awesome deal for a 49inch monitor at Sam’s by MSI, unfortunately the aspect ratio was battling with my GPU for some reason. So I decided to try out LGs 39inch UWQHD W-OLED monitor, and man… HDR looked absolutely terrible. So just in the nick of time, I traded in that LG for this samsung monitor and the HDR reproduction and 4K was absolutely mind blowing. The smart features are plus, but im a PC gamer so i dont use it much as a mini TV. But gaming on this thing is absolutely amazing. I LOVE IT, and if you have the buying power I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH. You need a 4k, High refresh rate, OLED monitor with awesome HDR, built in speakers, and as an extra can serve as a personal smart TV, then this is your monitor.

I’m not sure why this monitor received anything less than five stars. I bought an LG OLED and returned it for an MSI OLED then returned my MSI for this monitor. This monitor is absolutely perfect and it gives you additional features. It’s a smart TV. HDR is great but SDR is a perfect 10 out of 10. Go to rtings and find the calibration settings.

So far so good. The only small dissatisfaction is that the maximum brightness for this monitor is not as bright as I thought.

The display is nice when it works properly. But it will flicker occasionally for several seconds on any input/PC/cable I use. That's really bad considering this is marketed as a gaming monitor. HDR and 240Hz seem to make the problem worse. I bought this monitor to compliment my RTX 4090 and am extremely disappointed. I always ensure my graphics drivers and monitor firmware are up to date, and I use high-bandwidth cables. I also have a thin black line flickering on it, three and a half months into owning it. Samsung support tried to tell me it was the cable, even though I told them it was on the monitor's home screen. If I wasn't tech savvy I would have never gotten the warranty support I need. Whether the technician will fix it remains to be seen. The smart features are just unnecessary bloat added to increase the price. Why would you need to watch Netflix natively from a device whose purpose is to be plugged into a PC? Would would want to pay full price for a game just to stream it directly to your monitor? Menus are convoluted and hard to navigate. This is the first Samsung display I've ever purchased and I will never buy one again. Don't make the same mistake as me. Buy an LG OLED instead.

color contrast and definition are eye pleasing. Surprisingly the Samsung user interface is intuitive and useful.

Love this monitor! Took all of five minutes to setup and works well for both Mac and PC. Waking from sleep on Mac can be kind of a pain occasionally, but I haven’t had that problem at all on PC. You’ll need to use DisplayPort to get refresh rates higher than 60hz on M1 Macs, though.

Best looking monitor design I've had and the colors are vibrant.

Has a remote, not a fan of having to turn it on and off that way. Doesnt turn off automatically when I power my pc off. I want to love ot as it was a good sale price. Trying one more option before I commit to keeping it and if I do I feel like Im settling

My 1st ever oled and its beautiful. Never going back. This monitor is also a tv which is cool. 4k at 200+ fps is so good. The colors and brightness really pop even if the room is bright. 0.03 ms response time is crazy. No glare at all and viewing angles is so cool.
