great monitor, matte screen no issue

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not sure why ppl have issues with matte screen. it basically kills reflections and i dont notice any difference compared to glossy ones (tried msi mag321up). tv functionality doesnt bug me too much and software updates are super easy and automatic. picture quality is outstanding.

The user interface is gross and unwieldy, with it resembling that of a roku tv. The construction seems good overall, and I have not had any burn in issues yet.

Very fast response time and a ton of settings that allows you to alter visuals to match the game that you are playing. Clarity is on point--plus you can lowkey double as a TV so its almost like a two in one.

Plagued by software issues

However, this monitor is plagued by constant, daily software issues. This is similar to other issues I have experienced with other Samsung TVs. The main issue is that this isn't really a gaming monitor, its a gaming TV running Samsung's Tizen OS. I have a normal Samsung TV, and it also has similar issues. The main issue is that when it wakes up from sleep, the monitor will disconnect and reconnect constantly. This often happens 20-30 times which takes several minutes. When this happens rebooting the monitor or unplugging the cable doesn't seem to help. Other issues include: Slow to take from sleep mode. Screen flickering. Audio pops. Sometimes when it wakes up from sleep its stuck at 600x400 resolution, and it can only be fixed by unplugging the DP cable. And yes, I've swapped DP cables and I've swapped monitors. The issues always only happen on this monitor and none other.

The true blacks, lightning-fast response time, and gaming experience really make the visuals pop like never before. It is on the pricey side but if you are wanting the best experience for gaming, you cannot go wrong with this!

Had my worries- but this this is awesome

It actually pretty kuch eliminates the “purple tint” QD OLED tends to get. The blacks are pure and deep and the colors are super vibrant! Super happy with this thing.
