    Lots of features and the display is very nice. This monitor can also work as a smart TV so you can watch Netflix, YouTube etc and even gaming apps such as NVIDIA GeForce now. You can connect mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth directly to this monitor and play games without needing a console or PC. However if you intend to use this for office or productivity be careful because burn in sets really fast. I experienced burn in within 3 weeks. That is an extremely short amount of time to see burn in. 3 weeks after use I noticed the windows task bar had been burned in at the bottom with icons. I used the monitor for office use daily and also gaming sometimes.

    I had a personal policy never to buy Samsung products due to horrible build qualities and poor software with Samsung products years ago, but a couple friends convinced me to give them a shot. I did and was disappointed the whole month and some change I've owned this. First off, this behaves just like a smart TV with some dumb setup you have to go through, but whatever. Secondly, the remote works on ALL Samsung TVs. So if you have a Samsung TV nearby and you turn either of them off/on, so will the other TV, unless you "whisper" (cup your hand in front of the remote) to the device you want to control. Thirdly, the screen kept flickering black and once it didn't come back on until a restart. The last straw was when some dead pixels appeared in the bottom right corner. A few other issues with it was that the monitor wobbled as I typed, so it's not that sturdy. Also, there was this dumb remote tutorial that constantly popped up every time the monitor turned on, and the power brick is MASSIVE and white, so it sticks out like a sore thumb. I had to return it to Best Buy to exchange it for the LG Ultra View OLED 4k (or something like that). I was coming from a 10yr old ASUS ROG 4K, and I thought the picture looked pretty good on the Samsung G8, but when I first hooked up the LG Ultra OLED, I was BLOWN away with how much better the picture quality was and about 10x better performance than the Samsung G8. Deeper blacks too on the LG. Never Samsung.

    It was a fine product, a little dim for california. But stopped working too soon! Bestbuy will not take care of the repair process. You have to reach out to Samsung, which is lengthy and tedious.

    Right speaker is defective and DOA, samsung support won't replace the monitor because I'm beyond their 14 day return period. Should have bought it through Best Buy. The monitor is stunning, beautiful, and otherwise perfect - but Samsung does not have your back and after 2 hours on the phone with support and a promise from a tech support supervisor to replace it with a brand new unit, he secretly cold transferred me despite promises otherwise, and they're not honoring the commitment. So overall, it may be amazing, but avoid it at all costs due to the company backing it, making it, and supporting it.

    Flickering/Display Issues. Pointless bloatware.

    The display is nice when it works properly. But it will flicker occasionally for several seconds on any input/PC/cable I use. That's really bad considering this is marketed as a gaming monitor. HDR and 240Hz seem to make the problem worse. I bought this monitor to compliment my RTX 4090 and am extremely disappointed. I always ensure my graphics drivers and monitor firmware are up to date, and I use high-bandwidth cables. I also have a thin black line flickering on it, three and a half months into owning it. Samsung support tried to tell me it was the cable, even though I told them it was on the monitor's home screen. If I wasn't tech savvy I would have never gotten the warranty support I need. Whether the technician will fix it remains to be seen. The smart features are just unnecessary bloat added to increase the price. Why would you need to watch Netflix natively from a device whose purpose is to be plugged into a PC? Would would want to pay full price for a game just to stream it directly to your monitor? Menus are convoluted and hard to navigate. This is the first Samsung display I've ever purchased and I will never buy one again. Don't make the same mistake as me. Buy an LG OLED instead.

    Plagued by software issues

    I really want to love this monitor, and for better or worse I am stuck with it now. However, this monitor is plagued by constant, daily software issues. This is similar to other issues I have experienced with other Samsung TVs. The main issue is that this isn't really a gaming monitor, its a gaming TV running Samsung's Tizen OS. I have a normal Samsung TV, and it also has similar issues. The main issue is that when it wakes up from sleep, the monitor will disconnect and reconnect constantly. This often happens 20-30 times which takes several minutes. When this happens rebooting the monitor or unplugging the cable doesn't seem to help. Other issues include: Slow to take from sleep mode. Screen flickering. Audio pops. Sometimes when it wakes up from sleep its stuck at 600x400 resolution, and it can only be fixed by unplugging the DP cable. And yes, I've swapped DP cables and I've swapped monitors. The issues always only happen on this monitor and none other.

    Open box excellent condition

    Went today and picked up my order. Got all the way home to open it, and multiple items are missing. They claim that excellent condition should have all parts and accessories. According to their policy. Screen to monitor wasn't even protected. Just threw on the Styrofoam. But according to them, EXCELLENT condition comes with original packaging. That couldn't be further from the truth.

    This is not a computer monitor for gaming. It's a smart TV and allows you access to gaming video. Problem is you have to attach your mouse and keyboard to it. And use Microsoft easy box for them to be to be used on the monitor. This causes freeze ups and the mouse pointed will disappear while gaming. I will not recommend to anybody if going to game. The TV works great.

    If "doing too much" was a monitor, then this would be it. Picture and color quality is great (it's an OLED after all) but the UI/UX of this monitor is cumbersome and a hassle to work with. I want my peripherals to be plug and play - imagine having an onboarding flow for your mouse or keyboard...well this monitor requires it.

    Best Buy's open box descriptions are atrocious. I recently bought two items from Best Buy with condition described as "excellent" only to receive defective merchandise and missing accessories, including smart remote. Surely Best Buy can do better than pushing terrible descriptions and forcing the consumer to take the item back to the store.

    This is the worst monitor I have ever owned. Constant wifi issues, HDR issues all over the place, sound issues, remote control issues. It's also an extremely tedious process to calibrate for proper HDR. That is when it decides to actually work. The UI is also the worst I have ever used on any device. I foolishly waited too long and can no longer return it.
