Top Tier!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my eyes on this monitor for quite a while and when I saw it on sale I couldn't resist. More than lived up to my expectations and has provided me with a better experience than I could have imagined! Please keep in mind the ports for this monitor are not very common so stalk up on some extra cables.

Beautiful monitor with one minor flaw.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this monitor; however, Samsung wants you to use their UI for everything. I miss the input selection button on their remotes because I have the same issue with my Samsung TV. I think it's faster than having to navigate the UI, but it could just be me. Other than that, the picture quality is AMAZING!

Perfect with caveats.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best monitor with a caveats. It’s super color accurate with a delta of less than 2 and it is super bright. The speakers are decent and a lot of monitors don’t even have them. I like the smart functionality but the OS is clunky and very….clumsy. The biggest draw back is because the pixel lay out…text looks terrible on windows. All oled have this issue and it can be semi fixed…but it’s a jank fix using Mac type.

Solid overall.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic monitor. Good for RPG and cinematic type games but bad for FPS and MOBA. The screen is too wide. I did enjoy it though. Love the smart monitor portion as I can watch shows, tv and movies that is part of it. The problem I had was I sometimes click the remote and it changes when I'm in a match if I misplaced something on top of the remote and it changes to TV mode or etc and not on PC.

Checks all the major boxes
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitors checks all the major boxes for my use case. First off the size; with a 34 panel and 21:9 ratio to me is a good comprose from the standard 16:9 and the much larger 32:9 ultrawide; which means overall better real estate use for both gaming and productivity. Second is the panel, while not a 240 hz I feel the 175 hz and low latency is a great compromise from a native 240 hz refres panel not to mention the Oled colors. I would like to note that reqding about text and the pixel layout had me worried given my primary use case is work but honestly you habe to be looking for the fringing. The colors and brightness are great and content consuption is inline with what i expect from and Oled panel. Cons for me like others have stated. The setup is clunky even with the Samsung app. Which i get since this also offers the TV style of interface for Netflix and other streaming services. I just think execution could have been better. Then the last con for me are the inputs. A mini display port and micro hdmi i feel could have been better and just use the standard size connections. I think these connectors limit the monitors ability given cable bandwidth on these connectors.

Clear Picture and ton of space for your homeoffice
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A nice upgrade from my old 27lcd curved Samsung monitor while I was lookin for a bigger screen instead of 2 monitors. Pros: .- integration with a MacBook Pro .- embedded smart TV and Remote control Cons: .- after more than 3 months using it the only observation I can share is that is is an expensive option if you really do not plan to use the smart tv option or to connect your games console.

Fantastic monitor in the WQHD OLED sweet spo
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic monitor that completely met my (already high) expectations. Incredible for gaming, and better than average for productivity. OLED panels can make text blurry/hard to read, but I found this panel was more than good enough. I'd encourage anyone buying to read the RTINGS review. Note: I did have to exchange a unit due to an extremely high pitched coil whine. The second unit I received was perfect.

Multi-Tasking Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for a widescreen display for a while, which helps so much when it comes to multitasking or needing the extra screen space for Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio Code. It also comes in handy when I don't feel like having my PC on; I can watch Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming apps freely. The picture quality, both for gaming and movies, is stunning. I would recommend it to those looking for a widescreen display and an OLED panel. What I would say that can be improved about this monitor is the System Interface. Surprisingly, navigating through the settings feels so laggy and sluggish and can sometimes make it annoying, but then again, I never access the settings often unless I am doing a screen care routine.

Oled worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive got my old lcd 1440p monitor mounted above this one, and the difference in vividness and the “true black” of the oled monitor is unreal. Response rate isnt a huge deal to me, but with 175 hz and 0.3ms delay, video is buttery smooth. Highly recommmend this to anyone wanting a high quality oled monitor.

Samsung Odyssey G8
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor! Everything looks stunning on this display. The only thing that might deter people is that all the inputs are not the full size port. It uses Mini-DP and Mini-HDMI. There’s also no headphone jack in the monitor, so if you have multiple devices plugged into your computer speakers, that might be kind of annoying having to switch. The built in speakers are actually pretty good, though.

Best Monitor Ever
|Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Odyssey G5 34" to this one and the difference is night and day, the oled panel is beautiful and very smooth and responsive ontop of the hdr performance on being absolutely insane for a monitor, I was a little skeptical about it not having g-sync natively but it is compatible (not officially) and the FreeSync Premium Pro works great with my 3080Ti just be sure to enable G-Sync in Nvidia control panel

I HAD TO RETURN IT……
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You know how you hear people say “ I can never go back to VA panel after trying OLED” “It’s a night and day difference” while OLED screens are amazing and it’s where the future of monitors is heading, 4k and 2k is too much of a “night and day” difference to me.. I have a gpu more than capable of handling 4k games and I just couldn’t go backwards to 2k no matter how clean and pretty the oled 2k monitor is. So in terms of an ultra wide oled 2k monitor yes it looks to be the best . There is no comparison at how amazing the monitor itself looks, it’s best in its class. The multimedia function built in was cool but not used often I didn’t have issues with it but for what you’re getting full price at $1500 is pretty ridiculous. In the end it comes back to preference I kept coming back to my Samsung oddessy Neo G7 to get the clean clear bright 4k picture I wish that oled gaming monitors could have… but the good news is that’s what’s coming in the near future. 4k oled monitors. So until then I’ll wait. 34” 2k OLED < 32” 4k quantum mini LED

Underated
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic oled monitor when its on sale. Small issues that are outweighed by the overall brilliance of this monitor and im glad samsung doesnt use a matte finish like their competitors.

Nice quality monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good monitor for anyone who games and wants vibrant colors, but isn’t as recommended for daily use like office work. It has pretty good built in speakers that were surprisingly nice quality.

Great, but slightly inconvenient
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Image quality is fantastic. Picture is great, but ultrawide gaming is still a hassle in 2023 since not all games support it which gave me anxiety about burn in with 16:9 gaming. Probably something I didn't need to worry about but I did. The other "issue" was the ports. I say issue but it is very minor. Having mini ports instead of full sized ports became a problem for me when I needed longer cables for my sit stand desk. My pc stayed on the floor with my monitor on a VESA mount. I had to rearrange everything for it to work or buy a new cable. Ultimately I returned it and got the cheaper Alienware version of this since it was cheaper at the time of purchase and didnt require a bunch of changes. But the Samsung looked more premium, had better picture options, and felt good to use.
