We hated to replace since we loved our old cooktop, but we love this new one. It is quiet and lights right away and is sturdier.

The new center grate was slightly darker than the adjacent grates suggesting oxidation of the original grates as a result of exposure of the unit being a floor model rather than a new unit.

We picked the one he suggested. We had many issues trying to receive our product and when we finally do it didn't fit. The guy couldn't take the cooktop with him because he said he didn't deliver it so it sat in my garage forever with no phone call or anyone contacting me about the matter. I called told them I just wanted to cancel the order and come pick it.
