Seems to be an excellent choice. Food stays cold without freezing. The freezer stays at the correct temperature. The ice and water unit is a little tricky but once you figure the settings, you will love it.

Samsung could have put a little more thought into the ice maker/water dispenser. No light in dispenser area, water has a tendency to not hit your cup and ice comes out very slow.

The "hidden" door handles are great to help keep small children out and to help present the unit with a sleek and slim appearance. The controls are inside the refrigerator door, also helps keep small hands away, and simple to use.

Only downside with this refrigerator is making ice. It is smaller than what I expect. Otherwise love the layout of this side by side.

If I was nit picking I'd say the ice makers bin is a little small, so it might be a problem with a big family that uses a lot of ice. I also wish it had led lights for the bottom shelves. But overall a very nice fridge.

One thing,it makes a loud popping noise every once on awhlie. Thought at first it was something wrong but on line says this is normal. And I know they cover stainless in this sheet or film even when its put together but we cannot get all the little frayed/torn pieces out/off the edges. We will be picking at it forever!!!
